I never worry about what people think of me. If someone doesn't like me it's probably because I don't like them, I'm kind of obvious like that. I'm charming as hell and very friendly, so as a rule get along very well with most. Work wise I have no control over who I'm around but in my social life I surround myself only with people I like.

About the the culture thing, well of course no one culture is perfect and every one has its own drawback. If it is a conversation on academical level then sure otherwise if its to criticise just for the sake of criticism, then no. Talking about dirty laundry, its not appropriate to wash it in public.

I am patriotic about my culture. I have tried to be fair and balanced in the past, but the world is tribal, and in times of stress the tribes will line up. Of course this is what I learned along the way. Otherwise: Happy Friday!!
