I think not knowing love would be much better than experiencing and then losing it. It wouldn't be harsh for you won't feel like you're missing anything, which is quite the opposite in case of lost love.

My profile name suggests a pawn who is bleeding (profusely), after its many battles with negative elements of the society, in this case the opponents pieces, to achieve a positive result.
