That's beautiful, Mystyry! It reminds me of one of the monos in The Dark Tower series. Gliding over a shimmering sea of colors. Very neat, and thanks for what you said about my dragon! :)

I'm now working on a steamtrain and bridge spectacular, but I can't say how long it'll be, with all the other business I've got going on. It's perfect beach weather today and I've promised myself to hit the waves, so maybe It'll inspire a shoreline quickie with a pier ;)

I keep wondering why I keep doing birthday cards for people I'd never get any sort of present from on the day of my own, but here's one I did for Sophie. I'm thinking the only justifiable reason is the sheer practice involved:

Thanks for the comment, Gilliatt! The missile's ultimate purpose was actually to avenge Charlotte; not to annihilate her :p And the sprite just wanted to come out of there! :)

Wow. I don't know where to begin. Max, I love your cards! They make me laugh and/or smile. I hope to see many more of them!

Mystyry, the tree stump is my favorite part. It almost looks like someone or something could climb down inside of it. I also liked your triangle/pyramids in the previous post. They reminded me of rubix cubes. The most complex ones ever, and in pyramid form.

Ave d, I can't properly express how much I love your drawings. There is so much detail. So many things going on. It's like poetry, or stories. It reminds me of my brother's art. I'm going to look at your pictures over and over. :)

No.1 is watercolor and ink (Pigma Micron 005 pen) on a piece of brown paper bag.

No.s 2, 3 and 6 are the same very fine point (0.2 mm) pens in sketchbooks of varying sizes. I like to draw small (maybe it's because I learned how to draw by doodling in the margins of my school notebooks), and blown up scans don't really give a good sense of that:

No.3 was done with a mouse in some primitive online drawing application (I forget which).

Thanks for the background! It's nice, and I think it fits perfectly with my theme. And am I really the gradient master? I hadn't known! :lol: But I have started to color the figures, but I'm not finished yet. I'll post when I do finish....whenever that is. XD

Dancing rings look neat. The transparent sculptures have a lively appearance that reminds me of the aliens from the predator movies, when they become sort of semi-invisible and lurk their preys from among the trees... such mumbo jumbo to say I like it by means of a derailing mind making connections with movies :p
