mir was rounded up and pelted with mushy onions until she reached her expiration date. The only clue was a note stuck on the poor lifeless body reading:
"acronyms, dang acronyms! I have my revenge for all the acronyms!!!!" Authorities believe the person responsible is somehow connected to a literature network forum game thread....

Inspector Lestrade bounced along in the dogcart with Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson.
"Is there anything else to which you wish to draw my attention, Holmes?" Lestrade asked.
"To the rather bizarre incident of Kathy in the moonlight." Holmes replied.
"Dash it all, Holmes, Kathy did nothing in the moonlight! The poor girl is dead, you know!" Doctor Watson blustered.
"Is she? That explains why that is the most curious part of it all." Holmes drew on his pipe an looked thoughtful.
Lestrade whispered to Watson. "Lost his ruddy marbles this time, old chap!"
"Maybe." Watson returned. "But then we're all riding in a bloody dogcatcher's wagon with this lot of barking bowsers, and it's almost midnight. Here, Lestrade." Watson passed the Scotland Yard Man his brandy flask after a long pull on it himself. "As long as we're going to look like a pack of bloody fools, might as well be drunk as a Lord."
Only Holmes noticed the pale lady passing in the moonlight, and nodded thoughtfully. He'd have to get around to thanking Fu Manchu for the hashish. Lestrade and Watson began to sing, hoping to drown out the barking dogs. On the driver’s seat, Professor Moriarity simply smiled. But he shivered a bit, for he saw the lady as well, and he wasn’t smoking the devil Doctor’s hashish…

Admin put this letter over the grave of our friend Pen and walked away. The latter was dead by a virus on the web call "The Lit Net Forum". This virus is said to keep peaple online for a long time that they forget to ... needs of life.
Great Expectations
Dear people of litnet forum. I am sorry to announce the death of Adilyoussef. Yesterday, Adil got into row with someone and sweared at him in the forum and Admin got him banned....Poor Adil, he had expected a lot from Admin. He was unable to bear it. He loved litnet and now he was banned. What a pity, he commited sucide....sages say right thing that one should not have great expectations...:(
Lightning crashed outside the laboratory of Dr. Victor Frankenstein.
"Is it ready, Igor? We must test our calculations!"
"Yes, Master. See, I find a dead Mocking bird on the back lane. She is not much, but she will work for the experiment, no?"
"Yes. Let me see the bird. Ah, all bones and organs are intact; it just died of blood loss from this arrow wound. A few stitches, some blood, and she'll be ready. Get the machine all set. I require about ten minutes."

The great machines began to hum with electrical charge as Igor threw the switches. Dr. Frankenstein returned with the bird, now with a row of hastily applied stitches holding the wound closed.
"Now we shall see, Igor!" Frankenstein glanced at a table where a sheeted figure lay. "Hook the bird up."
"Yes, Master."
The juice flowed into the tiny bird, which suddenly threw back its wings, opened its beak, and said: "I'd kill for a cup of tea."

Pendragon visits dragons world on a snow evening.
In the month of extremely cold December, Dragon world feel itself in danger because they are not getting enough human food supply to satisfy their needs and in this case, when Pendragon, their creater, visits them, they don't think about, don't care about him and eat him.
Poor Pendragon! How much he loved Dragons! I will always miss him!
Poor Pensive, one fine afternoon, was out –
Her murder of the noble Pen to boast

But passing a battlefield, as in a dare,

James, Look Out For That...

Dragon mysteriously self combusts. Scientists stumped
Witnesses observed a strange occurence today. While on his daily errands beloved dragon and poet at large, Pendragon self combusted. One witness said"It was awful man, one minute he is up there flapping his wings, and the next we know ...kaboom!"
On a related note, several cows that were grazing nearby received minor injuries from some dragonscales that were blown their way in the explosion.
The deceased will be sorely missed for his warmth (literal and figurative ;)) but we have it on good authority from wildlife experts that dragons can rise from the ashes, just like a phoenix. So don't miss him to bad, he will be back directly.
today is a sad day. kathycf, the much-loved inhabitant of LitNet, has accidentally been deleted by a mis-stroke. although an undo button was in evidence, technological ineptness (computerus stupidus) compounded the event, and kathy was . . . BACKSPACED.
fortunately, she has been copied and pasted into several other documents. so the turnip-insulting lady should be back in no time at all. hi kathy! and . . . bye.
Life is said to be short. Only mir really knows this. It was yesterday that the day turned dark and never lightened back for dear mir. Why now is not important for that would not bring mir back to us.
The Bones At the Oasis
The wind blows hot across the arid plains,
And the shimmering heat casts many a facade.
It causes some people to totally bake their brains,
Or go insane chasing after some ghostly mirage.
A lone traveler paused on his trip through the waste,
At a forgotten oasis tucked away in the dunes.
The water was sweet, with a slight mineral taste,
Then he spotted an old white staff all covered in runes.
Instantly alert, he drew sword, and searched round the stones,
But he found no man living, no ambush or fight.
But not far from the staff was a torn robe, all full of bones.
The skeleton of a man, that the sun had bleached very white.
A message scrawled in a rock was all the legacy that the man had left:
My enemy prevails and I die. I am Adil Youssef.

Graveside Services
The Dragon sat near the oasis, and he bowed his scaly head,
In his mind there was a replay of the time spent with his friend.
He felt numb down to the very heart to know Adil was dead,
And a fury burned within him as he wondered just what sort of fiend
Had caught the Wizard off his guard enough to lay him low?
For well the Dragon knew the power of the slim white staff still clutched in bony hand,
And the Servant of the Secret Fire should have been proof against any blow,
And not now just a line of bones stretched out in the sand.
Using his tail as a gentle spade, the Dragon dug the grave,
And gathered all the bones together and wrapped them in a golden cloth.
And lay them in the resting-place, and the words of the Ancients now were prayed:
And with his massive strength he sat above the grave the rune, carved rock.
“Had I but been here with thee, thou would not now have come to this:
Forever rest, but I let thee down, forgive me, Adil Youssef…”

It was very difficult for Gods to decide that in which world Pendragon belonged to, Pens world or Dragons world.
So they decided to kill him.
How evil of them!!!
