Who says I wear pants? :)
Lovers,
If such we were,
Deserve more love than that;
And more of wit, and much less t*t
For tat.

Melanie, I enjoyed the mythical mystique in your poem. Enthralling and enchanting at the same time.
Pompey a nice, witty rejoinder in your latest poem!
For Tat
Rat-A-Tat-Tat
The bedroom door opens
She shouts: Joe was giving me a
Pap smear
Pap smear--
A kind of beer?
Blue ribbon or such boast?
"One thousand years!" or "Fellows, cheers!"
The toast?
The toast
I made was lame.
Life giggles. Ditch the blame.
Since sad and glad still rhyme, it’s all
the same.
The same?
Now that one's new;
For so say not a few:
"I non-conform 'cause that's the norm.
Adieu!"
Adieu.
Mon Dieu prefers
I wished them a good bye.
I do just as I please, but don’t
know why.
"Know why?"
I asked this guy.
"No, why?" the gent effused.
Why, no," I said, now in my head
Confused.
confused
inside because
ate some sweet and sour
fed my head some doubter chowder
huh? what.
huh? what.
To eat or not
Give me the food
That is good for good

Prelude:
If lewd, then pray;
If not, then you are scr*wed:
God doesn't look the other way
(Some say).
Some say
and some refuse
to say. Some choose. Some win
or lose again when clouds come in
today.
Today:
An illusion
Caused by the rotation
Of forever and never 'round
The sun.
The sun,
How it shone!
Unless maybe it shined.
Who cares? The important thing is
It rhymed.
