The show seems to favour contemporary dancers, and ignores ballroom/Latin/partner and hip hop dancers. I do remember one hip hop dancer that I thought was very good, he's the one that designs his outfits. He's a natural. I was disappointed when he was voted down but not surprised. They seem to dismiss hip hop, maybe because they consider it street dancing? They did keep Ivan from Season 2 in the top 10. He has a few tricks that set him apart from the others, if you remember, that gliding thing with his sneakers.Quote:

Yes, it's a show that focuses on hip hop dance. Dance crews compete for a $100K prize. Shane Sparks is one of the judges. Hok, Dominic, and Ryan from SYTYCD competed last season with their crew, QUEST, and they won.Quote:
