Yes Maxey! A human pikachu!!!
Thankyou Beau - and that human pikachu is very unusual (I'll do some research after this - the lightning bolt tail f'rinstance: I mean, what's that about! ;) )
I've been exploring space towers again, and this is one of the least offensive:

Splendid geometric towers!! Each section gives the impression that something mysterious is going on inside http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/secret.gif
Very interesting, Mystyry! I love the defiance of gravity!
My feathered elf sculpture in polymer clay and other stuff. I played with a bunch of different backgrounds. She was really fun to make. <3

A toast to Var! http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/drinks.gif And two thumbs up! http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/good2.gif
Investigations into Pikachu (and the mysterious Kyeire) have revealed that our Beau is quite a (prolific!) genius! :)
Thankyou Maxi! :)
Thankyou Vari! :)
That is quite an amazing new slant on what an elf can be - almost the diametrical opposite of the fairy, the mermaid, and your recent sketch: Cool! :)
As for me I was working on a Moonscape when stupid Bryce suddenly crashed just then, so I guess I'm still working on it...
Thank you, Max and Myst! She was fun to make. I was wanting to make something not inspired by anything but my brain. That's what I came up with. :)
Moonscapes are rad.
True!
NP!
BTW, my space battle scene is almost done :)
Then you have a beautiful mind... like the movie :)
Dunes, craters, and no water!! :willy_nilly: :p
You should give yourself a medal for that Var! :)
Can't wait Max! :)
What happened here was I was working on the Blurgs within the frame of the second, more textured landscape (after visiting the desert again recently and re-discovering how varied it is), but this morning I thought: 'Umm, they don't really fit'. So now there's two separate images:
http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/...yry/Blurgs.jpg
http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/.../moonscape.jpg
Those two are phenomenal! I especially liked the mountain on the first and the ground texture on the second :hurray:
A 'blurg' would be something like a blend or merge? http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/sc...one-s_head.gif
Indeed should! :hurray:
Thanks Max :)
Blurg = Planet Generator (sounded better than Plag). The mountain was to try to give a sense of scale, where the moonscape made them look more like toys in mud (which is why not)
Very nice work from everyone :)
This is the Torre De Bellem, a Portuguese sea battery of old:

.......
great stuff everyone :) mystry I'm stealing yours AGAIN for my background lol
Aw. Thank you so much, Tony! I love Elizabeth Taylor. That really makes me happy. :)
Max, your mind is beautiful too, and creative and funny and unique.
Mystyry, you should give yourself a medal for that awesome moonscape! Fantastic!
I'm very lucky to have pals like you guys. :D
Thankyou Max, Naughty Steph, and Varenne :)
Here's a thing:

The color combination is of the sort I like http://smiles.kolobok.us/artists/just_cuz/JC_clap.gif I'll be staring at it for a while just to see if it soothes the itchy mood I'm having tonight http://smiles.kolobok.us/artists/jus..._shakehead.gif
Ok...ok...I'll admit that I have my own art. I made this for my daughter.

That looks very good, Bien. It has a tenderness of its own
I went to a fabric store and explained to the lady that I wanted to make a "Velveteen" rabbit. She proceeded to tell me that there are much better fabrics to make a bunny out of than velveteen. What she wasn't getting was that if I didn't make it out of velveteen, then it wouldn't be a "VELVETEEN RABBIT".
Well? What can you do?
(Yes, I bought actual velveteen, and it worked out just fine.)
A very specific mission! :)
Bien, It's so cute! Was your daughter happy?
I hope she enjoyed herself! I can't wait to see the pictures of the cake! :)
Here's something I'm working on. It's not done yet, but this is how far I've gotten. It's actually supposed to be me9even though it doesn't look like me). The present me(right) is looking back at the me six months ago(left). While the six-months ago me, is looking to the future, wondering how it'll turn out. One of those things coming form too much thinking...especially since I keep thinking, "What if I had done something different?" Would I be how I am? *sigh* Too much thinking.

An interesting concept form an interesting mind, Beau. It would be equally interesting to see how it further develops http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/yes3.gif
I'm sorry to point this out Bien, but this looks a bit like a male reproductive organ... (or a rocket ship... ?)
It's very cool nonetheless, and I applaud your baking/creative skills. I don't think I could even make a cake, much less in the shape of something.
Remarkable tower, Bien. Great job!
Thanx Max :)
Too much thinking may be right Beau, but what a great idea and execution! The raw black and white linework and vast blank distance between the figures that really gives it impact.
Can't comment on Bien's, because they aren't displaying AT ALL! (Though the problem is probably at my end as usual)
I'm revisiting a favorite old program, but the intervening years have made it either very dodgy, or I remember it being a lot better than it actually was. Either way I'll keep hammering away until I get some results I'm happy with...

:iagree:
According to the link they seem attached to one of Bien's Lit Net albums (the albums forum members can create here within the site). Probably you have a sort of problem to access such albums... unsure if it has to do with account settings http://smiles.kolobok.us/artists/jus...C_thinking.gif
Perchance nostalgia http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/acute.gif What program would that be?
Bien, your rabbit and cake are cool. Nice creativity.
Beau, I really like your concept.

http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/...ght-part-2.jpg
We would tamely walk headlong into the night
Could we not remember dusks that yelled through white,
And only hear The Banshees' endless wailing,
Rebuffing angers' will for promptly sailing.
But today no lung knows restful breathing,
Neither shall there be a single hate at sheathing;
Today's the finest day for The Impaling.
Even through the shields completely shattered
Shall emerge a ram with gates to batter.
On a day when bells once loud no longer ding,
When throats ere voiced announce we cannot sing,
In the wake of The Unveiled by mist unknown,
It shall, that day, be day for wrath to spring;
To fling the rocks, the sheath, the blade, the hone.
And thus, through choking drafts, above, alone
A race restrings each severed string
And tunes regain their utmost tone.
Wonderful Max! (Sigh, I don't have your cute clapping emoticons. Anyway assume it is here.) Have you written the poem also?
@ beautifuli - I think your concept is really very interesting, as if the past and future are looking at each other through the mirror of present.
@ Bienvenu - You are a unique artist. I hope your daughter liked it.
