Hehe that makes sense, tried to speak any german yet? Tried to buy anything through the universal language of pointing?
Today my dad received as a birthday gift a large box of meat from his brother. It's revolting to look at. Now we're going to be eating gelbwurst and weissewurst for the next month-and-a-half, I'd say.
My dad was delighted, btw.
The kitten is all better too. Getting very big, they are.
oh really? like eastern european keyboards! expect lots of inverted z and y if i happen to post when i'll be in hungary!!! (i'm excited about the whole thing now, for those who read my depressed scared ramblings about it some time ago)Quote:

I was really missing this forum.
me? have fun? that's against my nature... it all depends on how long it takes me to get used to using forum from public computers... I hate it because I'm always feeling like whoever is at the pc near mine is spying me...:D (oh it actually happened to me once at Uni, i was writing an email and a boy asked me why i was writing in English! i hate that kind of questions...i'm not going to reveal about my internet-life!). I'm leaving in september or late august, I talked with the girl who's been there last semester and she said it was cool, the rent was very cheap... only she didnt like much the people (the other foreign students), which was my biggest fear but I'll hope to have more luck or to be able to enjoy the new experience not caring of the people (i'm actually hoping to open up to people in this experience, but i'm used to loneliness and not getting on, so...). *stops rambling*Quote:

ooh..koa i am so jealous. i think you have a wonderful opportunity at your fingertips here. enjoy it to the max.
on a side note: I ate my first real meal since monday last night!!! (a juicy hamburger with lots of pickles, cooked on my brand new bbq, with potato salad and baked beans) i was so excited, i could hardly chew for all my grinning!!! :D :D
Yay, Ravana! We missed you!
And yayy, VB! :D That must have been nice. How do you keep it clean, btw? Listerine? I couldn't imagine having to put peroxide in my mouth.
Koa, I know you're going to have a great time. I'm leaving about the same time -- I just pray I have a roommate with a comp and a lot of generosity. :p Otherwise, with both of us gone, this place is going to get rather dead very suddenly!
goodness no, emily. no peroxide and no listerine. you wouldnt use peroxide even on a non-oral piercing..EVER. for all my body piercings i used just neutrogena soap to clean with twice a day, and saltwater solution soaks slightly more often.
for my current piercing, i use a sea salt solution and i rinse everytime i put anything in my mouth (including a cigarette) and that, my dear, is it. i brush my teeth just like normal now, and i suck on a lot of ice chips to keep the swelling down (popsicles are a pain cause the top bead really is in the way, and it really doesnt feel good to bump it)
i ate dinner tonight too....im on a roll!
I've heard a lot of people say, "never use peroxide," but that's what I've always used in my ears and they're fine. Oh well. Good to hear your mouth's universe is returning to normal. :D

And we'll keep in touch somehow I hope... Ah this is the downside of getting a life and try new stuff, you always have to leave something (or part of it) behind! Life is scary ;)
I am leaving in 15 minutes for the plane! Is this excitment I feel? What a novel idea, the spark of enjoyment, anticipation, Calgary wiating for me. Nothing can bar my way.
yay!!! have a great time!!!
I just bought a big ole box of expensive doggie treats. On the package is the following advertisement: “Made from 100% human-quality ingredients.” – Not too sure how to take that.
You know what though, they are pretty tasty.
