Hi All!
I'm Randi and I absolutely adore reading. I don't always read literature but I'm very interested in and excited by literature so I'm glad to be joining this forum. My user name is an anagram of my first and last names and sounds like a not so tasty Indian dish. I hope that all of you will give me some fantastic reading recommendations and challenge my opinions. I also hope that no one judges me too harshly for my love of pop culture and pop fiction. :)
HELLO,everybody, i am so called Chinese guy, and i cannot find many people around me who does english reading, now people even seldom reads. But I still cling to the fath that man needs reading to save his soul because one's phiscal (allow me to use this ugly term) relationships, or we say, real relationships, could not give substantial mental support to satisfy peoples' desire to utter himself and communicate with others, espcailly in our current society, in which we always feel sunk in solitude.
recently i am reading around ANNA KARENINA translated by Maude, i hope somebody can just talk with me over something that we read in common.

Hello everyone, my name is Yago and I'm from Brazil.I've always been addicted to chemistry and biology, but a few months ago I discovered a new passion : Writing. A month after that, reading also became a major part of my life. Those new experiences helped me to find myself, and I'm really glad I found this forum where I can share my thoughts with others. Hoping to learn a lot in here. Sorry if there are english mistakes, I'm still learning it (: :seeya:
Hello everyone. I'm new (first post!). I'm excited to start reading and discussing books with everyone, and getting to know this group. I'm 26, and recently graduated from Utah State in Composite Biological Teaching. I'm not a teacher yet, but hopefully I can find a good local position for the coming year. I also just got married on Nov. 6th, and am starting a new adventure with married life.
My first date with my husband was actually "supposed" to be a chance to pick out the first book we wanted to read for a book club between the two of us. We did end up picking a book, and reading it (like...halfway). I really just wanted an excuse to see him a bunch...so, that fizzled out pretty quickly when we both realized we were much more interested in each other than books.
But, now that I've sealed the deal with him, I think it's about time I try my hand at a real book club. It does sound fun :)
