Dancing in the Moonlight - King Harvest
that's a fun old 70s tune that should probably be in the guardians of the galaxy movies! which by the way tailor, have you seen the 3rd one?
dancing queen by abba.
#3... I don't think so... I see it's on Disney+ now so I might check it out... cool: "no sleep till brookline" with a ewok type moment at the penultimate ending :) ... make that antepenultimate ending, lol.
Mississippi Queen - Mountain
the thing about the 3rd movie that I reallllllly didn't like---they made a major shift in the soundtrack's time period and style of music. I didn't recognize half the tunes, and a lot of the ones I didn't recognize, I kinda didn't like either.
I love Mississippi queen---"do you know what I mean."

A Girl Like You - The Smithereens
watched a live performance of it tailor, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS3aofzdGbc, loved it! am going to hunt up more of their music.
also, it makes me wonder where the phrase "blowing something to 'smithereens'" comes from.
hometown girl by josh turner---more of the great lyrics that country music often has.
Girl: yeah great sound, great song... 33 years ago? doesn't seem possible.
smithereens etymology: wiktionary https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/smithereens...Quote:
Etymology
Uncertain; the following possibilities have been suggested, though the etymons are all first attested later than the English word:[1]
From Irish smidiríní, smiodairíní (“smithereens”), from smiodar (“broken piece, fragment”) + -ín (suffix forming diminutive nouns) + -í (slender form of -aí (suffix forming plurals of some nouns)).
From smithers (“fragment; atom”) infixed with -een (suffix forming diminutive nouns in Hiberno-English).
From Hiberno-English (Wexford) smaddereen, a variant of smattering (“small amount or number of something; shallow or superficial knowledge of a subject”).
From Hiberno-English (Wexford) smithered, smashed
hometown girl: down to earth song about a down to earth girl :)
Hometown Glory - Adele
I suspect I know the word from Yosemite sam!
I love Adele's voice and her music---it almost always brings a tear to my eyes. apart from how powerful and beautiful it is, her voice has such a yearning and ache to it.
carry me home by sohn, from one of the divergent soundtracks
Y.S. - yes, lol
Agree, Adele is phenomenal.
Cool song... I've seen "Divergent" - One of the better dystopian flix I've seen.
Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas
I loved the first two divergent movies but I thought the 3rd one went off the rails a bit but in general, I love dystopian stories, even ones without zombies.
one of my favorites from high school days tailor.
