Like the movie also...I think Johnny played it well and so did Kate. I really like how the movie describe the spirit of a person.

not a movie (though i did watch Gettysburg today for over 4 hours), but friday night i saw the v-monologues with a classmate, her bf, and another friend. extraordinarily funny, extremely moving, and the lines were so amazing that i found myself crying in some points because of the sheer poetry of the piece.
an over-the-top 10. i need to get a copy of the script.
there is a mistake regarding Pickett's Charge in the movie, btw. did anyone else catch it? also a 10. very true to the battle, the book, and kudos for using actual reenactors. some wonderful, terrible moments.
Psyche purchased a DVD a few afternoons ago of a film that she had raved about for some time, but found it no where, called Blood Freak, by far the best worst movie I have ever seen. Made in 1972, and regarded as a classic "B movie," the plot involved a giant killer turkey-man on a rampage of consuming the blood of marijuana-smokers, craving the drug. How ridiculous and poor the story, directing, acting, lighting, and sound proceeded made it into a rather humorous film. My rating: . . . undecided.
Doesnīt that last part turn the movie into horror? Or perhaps dark comedy?Quote:

They showed this movie in filmfestivals in Sweden , and itīs very good, but also disturbing. Personaly I like that in movies. I think I would call it a thriller/drama.
I watched Fubar last night. Cdn. men (in age only) drink, and they, well, they drink. I think it was a mockumentary. Embarassing for me as a Canadian, however, I watched the whole dang thing, kind of like watching a car wreck.
Det sjunde inseglet , by Ingmar Bergman . I think the English title is The seventh seal.
Itīs the one with the classic scene where the knight plays chess with death. The actors voices sounds really strange, almost comic because in old swedish movies evryone talks like they where on the theater stage. But once I got used to it I loved the film. It is a dark, burlesque tale about a knight who gambles with death during the time of pestilence- the black death.
What a great movie that one is.
Johnny Barko or something (no, not Johnny Darko)

I went to see the Amityville Horror earlier, it was pretty good. Also had some decent laughs in it at times - especially the parts with the babysitter.
overall I'd give it an 8/10.
Watched 'Goodby Lenin' a couple of weeks ago. Quirky, sort of heart warming, and well acted. Worth watching.
Crisaor - don't know about Argentina I'm afraid, but 'City of God' was brilliant.
Oh, 7.8....................
