Alright Pen, 7000!!!
me too! Great minds think alike (unless you prefer the less flattering German saying: "Two idiots, one thought")
Sub, why do you want to be called Arthur?
I' ve just remembered I've got two more RL nicknames, but you'd probably have a hard time pronouncing them:
1. Beutel (eu = roughly: oy as in boy)
2. Fauli (au= roughly ou as in house)
Robin, who or what or when are the Goonies? there's another Data?
See, I've always told you Robin is Chinese :) *nobody ever listens to me*
The Goonies happens to be a 1980's movie that, though fraught with flaws, became a classic thanks to its intensely endearing characters and its adventure-centered plot. Hmmph.
Another interesting conclusion, this time from Sleepy - will you at least tell me where this one came from? Lain refuses to disclose her research.
Hey, Thanks Bro. And if perchance thou art Chinese as these say, no wonder thou art brother to a Dragon! But why wouldst be ashamed o' it? A fine and noble race are they, and a great civilization had they long before any rose in the East. And tis said that The Native Americans whose blood runs in these veins came here across the land bridge from Asia. My spirit guide, the cougar, would say that he who is blind because he refuses to open his eyes or his mind is indeed foolish. :)
A cougar is the spirit guide of the softie Dragon Pen? That's why you're so gentle!
My theory is that if the Chinese had decided to try and conquer the world 3000 years ago, they totally could've.
And of course, the standard ambiguity: I may be Chinese, and I may not be...
I dont see the fuss: Robin is quite clearly American, and I think also from North Carolina
Nutbunnies, I should brush up on my history. And it's roughly 1.3 billion, if memory serves. And, if I may ask, why North Carolina?
Well Im pretty sure he is at least linked to america in some pretty concrete way but then theres the whole lets ramble on in spanish thing, he does somtimes. I think that should be taken into account. And Im sure he said somewhere somthing that made me go Oi! but I thought you were an american, havent you always lived in the states and the answer to the second part was no.
Course he could just be an expat or just one of those people who are in one of the numerous american schools around the world ( although that wouldnt explain the seemingly endless supply of american comics).
And thats my 2 shillings worth.
yep, Fauli is fine :)
nowhere :) it's just one of my nutty ideas. (another one is "Scher is 27"). But as you can see, it's been picked up eagerly by those you like to speculate about our mysterious archer's identity ---> it's another patch in your cloak of secrecy :)Quote:

Night, very interesting evidence. But the "let's ramble on in Spanish thing" doesn't need to mean he's Spanish.
I mean, Schoko, me and lots of other non-native speakers on LitNet ramble on in English all the time but it's not our first language.
He could have learned it as a foreign language. If his Spanish is any good, that would mean that he can't be English then ;) (as in English ppl can't be bothered to learn foreign languages)
NO he said somewhere " there is a reason I write in spanish somtimes" I think it was last time someone labled him 'american'.
:eek2:
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hehe, just teasing you Robin, don't mind silly little SleepyWitch :)
(subtract around 20 to 22 years from her chronological age, add lots of caffeine and stir and you'll get her mental age :) )
PS: Robin said Pffffffffft = he's German (no one else could pronounce it). there you are.
heeeeeheeee, weheeeee, don't shoot me Robin.
On topic: could somebody think up a nickname related to teasing for me? something that will tell people what a mean and nasty person I am?
(nope, "SleepyWitch" is not an option, I'm called that already. who said "Schweinehund?" no thanks:))
Schweinehund? i know what that means! pighound, we call my dog that since she is a very porcine hound indeed. we also call her sausage for the same reason...
I like, i think it was orginally MissCarolines, Drame for me. But because my mind is so warped for some reason i think of Dame Edna everytime i'm called that...*shudder*
I am quite sure you are from the Eastern Side of the US (due to average time of postings) I also think you are definetely not from the New England, New York, Pennsylvania, DC area. I dont think you are from the Florida area either. So that leaves me the Carolinas. I picked North (but of course it may be South)
Nope, my knowledge of world geography comes from following sport :D
** I do however plan to make my way down there in the Summer on a road trip - Baseball HOF, Pro-Football HOF, and stops in various cities along the way to catch some baseball games **
Wow Robin, you're as famous as a Hollywood star, guessing where you live and all the drama! If we ever know where you live, calling the police maybe a good idea. Stalking is a crime. :p
Acualley that is true, Im pretty sure he used to come on the same time as people like Miss darcy from australia/new zealand??
They're getting us mixed up again! I'm the one originally from North Carolina, in fact, I still don't live but about an hour and a half drive from the border if that! I usually vacation on Cape Hattaras, with such famous places as Roanoake Island (The Lost Colony), Kitty Hawk (Wright Brothers), and Ocracoke Island (Blackbeard the Pirate), and The Graveyard of the Atlantic. From any given point on shore, you are looking over at least 50 sunken ships. My favorite beach has a Nazi submarine sticking up off shore!
How about a simple DT, for Double-Trouble? Or in German that would be, what, doppel Ärger?Quote:

perhaps a CIA agent! protecting his identity! until one day, an intrepid and determined group of curious forumers discovered his true location and set Laindessiel to stalk him!! bum bum bum . . .
or not. :p anyways, i want to help with the stalking! (i have experience! umm . . . i was discovered by the best friend i was following after about two steps, but i have two steps worth of experience! :D)
Mir, that must have been an awesome two steps! Although I'm fairly sure you wouldn't get even that far with Robin-- he's a vigilante, and a good one. I doubt that a bow is his only defense against stalkers...
S'true. He's been after me for a little while, and I'm pretty good myself. I at least always see him coming...
DT is cool. so you can call me DT and Schoko will call me Fauli (lazybones) and we'll have a great time confusing everyone :) what a coicnidence, I've just posted a new story in which the line "double doulbe toil and trouble" plays a role :) (cf. "Revels before Lent" in the short story sharing section)
(hehe, yep doppel Ärger is more or less correct except for some endings and the fact that it wouldn't work as a nickname in German)
That hasn't exactly STOPPED me from follwoing you around...;)
