Yes, Stan...Least that's what they say about me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a spontenaous and extrovert person. If I don't like something or I found somethings where they don't belong, I'd say it right away. I don't really care if I have to talk to straight to the point to my boss for instance. And of course, I don't always critisize everything, and on the other hand I totally open for people's critizisms directed to me..

Oh just wondering, it is based off the Beowulf saga, and since ye had the epic in your sig for a while I was just curious, I would recommend the book, the movie based off the book is titled "The Thirteenth Warrior". The movie is cool, but the book i9s better. (oh the title is a bit crude, but generally the book is not as explicit.)

I've read that book, Eaters of the Dead. It was quite good actually. The movie was quite cheesy (bad). The only good thing about the movie was the fact that it was filmed in British Columbia, Canada. Antonio Banderas was the star, but unfortunately he can't act.....

No need to apologize, as I generally like the more philosophical (or 'philosophicalitical' :D) questions, compelling me to think.
I enjoy much about life, but particularly the small, seemingly petty, aspects. I enjoy trying not to take things for granted; I could spend hours just wandering around nature, listening to the rain and wind - in essence, the popular quote, "stopping to smell the flowers."
I also enjoy learning, in general, specifically things about literature (obviously), philosophy, spirituality, and the natural sciences. Derived from that thought, I care much for self-expression, mostly through the arts, of which I know few, like painting, sculpting, writing, music, photography, etc.; typically, I think one has the ability of expression for a reason, art being the ultimate means.
With a final note, I suppose I can enjoy nothing more than love (all that mushy mushiness for 'suckers' :D), it being the MOST transcendent of feelings that influences, I believe, every other human faculty.

Well...I like how life has the tendency to surprise one - how unexpected things happen. I also like that it educates one, that it (eventually) makes one a better person. That too - striving to be a better person, I think, is very important.

And I love music and nature. Two very pure things...things? Is music a thing? I suppose not, though it is of course transmitted partly in the form of material soundwaves...there is more to it...I mean, the emotional aspect, the waves of beauty that emanate from the person playing it...and I couldn't live without nature. Well, to speak the truth, no one could, we'd all die out, but I hope you know what I mean. Though nowadays I spend too much time on the computer, I still really appreciate nature. I couldn't live without trees around my house, big, leafy, beautiful trees. And I like going on bushwalks too...or (in Europe) walks in the fields, through the woods, breathing the fresh air, with a silence that is punctuated only by the buzzings of insects and the singing of birds...I've always had a dream, to lie down under a pear tree in my grandmother's garden in the meadows...and just daydream...or sleep...do nothing...pleasant rays of sunshine sieving through the leaves above you...

Also, my mother makes my life special. Perhaps that sound corny, but it's true. I wouldn't even be here without her, and I'd never have had all the aspirations and interests I now do. Maybe I should have put that first.

And refining the spirit, culturing soulful energy to doing things in a beautiful way. I don't do this too often :blush:, but I believe it is very important in life...that the soul is very special.

I, too, love reading (otherwise I wouldn't be here - though you may argue I spend all my time arguing about religion ;)). I can spend hours just reading a good book. I don't really read new books...just classics. I love writing as well, and of course art, and other refinements.

I like bike riding as well, working one's way up a hill, suffering hardship - and yet what a beautiful issues when after working so hard for it you fly down it.

I don't exactly have much experience in love :D, except of course filial (and grandfilial, if there is such a word) love. So I can't really put that on my list...:p

Amuse: Yes I guess I have travelled a fair bit. First through leisure (US, Israel, Greece, N Europe etc), then on business (US, Southern, Central and Northern Europe). Nowadays, living with someone with a fear of flying, I tend to go on rail weekends to France and Belgium, and holidays by car to France, Italy and Germany.
