To me, "facination of the abomination..." means the interest of being dislike or dislike something or interest of intense aversion or loathing. The interest of a vile, shameful or detestable act.
The fascination of abomination means that people are interested in our dark side the evil and the violent.:smash: :brow:We are interested in how bad things could be and this makes us feel better about our lives.:crash: :flare: :bawling: :rage:
I feel that "[t]he fascination of the abomination" comes from man's obsession with what he loathes. Such is evident in times of war, for example, where we as Americans, heavily scrutinize every action and cultural aspect of a county that we are at war with. Also, man may find solace in seeing others' abominable actions because they may in response feel better about their less destructive manner.
I think the fascination of abomination means people want horific and destructive things. We know that those things are bad but we are attract to those things because they are scenes that we saw many times. :yawnb: :( :flare: ;) :alien:  :p :bawling:  :thumbs_up  :crash: :)
the fascination of abomination means to me that as humans we find that disaster and destruction amuzing. i think that humans have a desire to to see the mental and physical results from distruction. i beleive that the human emotion of pain is one of the least understood emotions and i think that people are amused as well as intrigued by how people react to pain. Also society enjoys seeing the animal like instincts of humans when put in a situation. for example look at reality t.v. watching people try to survive is so interesting.
I believe that the fascination of abomination refers to how humans are amused and interested in death. We accept death much more openly as a result of our violent television shows, video games, etc. Humand have become less sensitive towards people's pain and lack emotion towards death.Today, our society accepts violence mush more openly and we tend to apply the "Eye for an eye" mentality towards just about everything. Humans today have become desensitized and lack compassion towards others.

I think that "fascination of the abomination" means that people are drawn in by the outcome of things that are destructive. For example which happens almost everyday, when people get into an accident there is an effect that many call "rubbernecks" because they see the accident and want to know about it. It seems that if the accident is worse people are even more fascinated. This can relate to the novel in relation to the trade circuit and the lack of interest in the natives. :flare: :alien: :crash: :D :( :yawnb:   :thumbs_up  :p :D
I believe that the "fascination with abomination" refers to mankind's natural tendency to be drawn to all things horrific, troubling, gruesome, etc. This fascination has existed in the past and it is something that we will continue to experience. We can relate this "fascination with abomination" back to the Ancient Romans, a civilization that delighted in war and made sport of bloody Gladiator fights. Today, people pack theaters to see bloody, graphic movies such as Saw and Hostel. We are all guilty of slowing down neary a car accident, hoping to catch a glimpse of the driver's/passenger's misfortune.
Essentially, the discourse of primitivism and degeneracy reverses the idea of evolution; it deconstructs the ethos of the improving spirit of the times.
....
shows the animal-like characteristics of man, and how man is supposed to be the highest of all mammels, yet he still developes the qualities and actions of wild beasts. *shrugs*
The FAscination of abomination to me means that, people are so intrested in death and what the out come will be that they have no care for human life. For example in the book All of the blacks are treated badly and they are dieng and no one really seems to care. The book constantly keeps mentioning death.
the fascination of the abomination means to me, what has created that could destroy man; the classic man creates monster, monster destroys man ideal. The fascination of the abomination comes from the fact that something can be so great, that in turn in can be so terrifying. *LEGALIZE IT*
I believe that many people are so interested in abomination because it lets a person see how destructive they can be or how helpful they can be. It is something that people use to measure themselves with.
To me, fascination of abomination means that it is human nature for people to be attracted to things that are horrific and evil. I fall in this catagory as well. For example, when there is a car crash on the side of the road, everyone driving wants to go check it out. I don't know what causes poeple to do this...maybe it's the fact that people want to see others fail to benefit themselves...i don't know?
"The fascination of the abomination..."
To me this means that everone is interested in destruction and unkosher ventures
