I'm glad this is a sticky now! I hope that Julie will get better and that the doctors will be able to help her. It's nice to see so many people offering their support, I hope that it all helps her to stay strong knowing that everybody cares about her, whether or not we know her very well. Get better soon :) We're rooting for you!

poor little Julie! this is such a shock and really saddening!
please give her a big hug from SleepyWitch and her toy dog Fuffel.
and tell her to stick to what Virgil and Pensy said (she'll be fine eventually!)
-
Oh My Gosh my poor Lizzie. I hadn't talked to her for ages, its just such a shock. xoxo

-
wow, what a tragedy!
I hope that she makes a full recovery, she was an amazing member!
The ships standard will be at half mast till ye come back on.
Best of Wishes

My apologies to all for being so sombre...I am not one accustomed to hoping.

Thank you very much for making this thread a sticky and for posting daily.
I will visit Julie tomorrow so I'll let you know how she is and what she has to tell you.
I'm sorry I cannot go to the hospital every day because I have to attend lectures at University, for me but for her as well. I can't act as if she would never come back...
Her family join me in thanking you and send their blessing.
They told me she was quite tired but still strong in her mind.
Thanks again. More tomorrow...

If you stop by this thread again before you go...tell her I remember well, and long for a reprise...

Julie was pretty exhausted by the many analyses they are doing on her, to find something that could help. She was asleep most of the day but still sends her love and deepest thanks to all of you.
Dry Snail, that made her smile, even though she pretended to be shocked. :)
Pen, she loved the poem very much and promised she would keep on believing with all her heart.
She returns every blessing, kiss and hug, and promises to write more soon.
Thanks again for all you are doing for her...

Maela
if you wish to keep Julie abreast of the goings on around lit net, I think there are three hot threads that she may enjoy.
Two are general chat where we kid and tease each other:
Anyone for Coffee? (no boys allowed), http://www.online-literature.com/for...ad.php?t=19546
and
Something for the guys(No girls), http://www.online-literature.com/for...ad.php?t=19550
and one is a somewhat heated philosophic debate
Are humans special or are we nothing more the mere rabbits, http://www.online-literature.com/for...ad.php?t=19619
She might enjoy reading these if you can print them out for her.
I hope she's feeling better.

...has anyone heard from Maela or Julie?
-
I've been thinking about her myself, Robin. They say "no news is good news", but I can't tell my heart that and make it believe it...
-
Aye, brother...I can't help but worry. We care too deeply about her to let it be, don't we?
-
Double-amen to that, little bro.!
