Sixteenth Century Greensleeves - Rainbow
tailor, is that a rock version of the old traditional greensleeves?
turn of the century--peter yorn (a wonderfully mellow and soothing love song from the girl next door soundtrack. a fun movie too.)
No. My research shows that on some rare occasions Rainbow would start with the traditional "Greensleeves" that would whip up the crowd. Otherwise I see no connection to the various incarnations of "Greensleeves" to Richie's & Ronnie's creation.
On the Turning Away - Pink Floyd
thank you, still pretty neat though...
blown away--carrie underwood (would love for someone to listen to the lyrics and comment on the morality in the song)
and if you are even more ambitious, hunt up the youtube video of rion paige's singing it on an x-factor audition a few years ago.
