Howdy :)
I'm currently a college student living in a small but wonderful town. I enjoy reading when I have the leisure, walking barefoot through the grass at night, and black coffee. I've become rather fond of this website over the years--reading and coming to love various works that are available here and at my finger tips. I reckon it to be time I tipped my hat and said hello to my fellow literature lovers.
I could say I have a fetish for books, spent most of my life reading, so I'm very happy to find other people sharing the same passion.
I'm hoping to meet new people here, as well as discuss literature and hear other people's opinion on the topics I find interesting.
Oh, and my name is Lidija!
Hello everyone,
I am a new member here. This forum is simply terrific!
I'd like to discuss the works of Paul Bowles, who lived and wrote extensively about Tangier and Morocco. I'd like also to get some help about a German book I'm looking for; the book is titled Die Short Stories Von Paul Bowles: 1939-1990, by Elke Stracke-Elbina.
Thanks in advance
Just want to say Hello. Just joined forum.
A little about me:
I love to read classic and contemporary literary fiction, history, and theory, write, and analyze. I prefer books that tackle society with wit and satire: particularly -
The Canterbury Tales, Chaucer
Sense and Sensibility, Austen
The Pickwick Papers, Dickens
The Virgin Suicides, Eugenides
The Emperor’s Children, Messud
The Children’s Book, Byatt
I’ve recently become exceedingly interested in the theories, philosophies, and political/social movements of the late Victorian / early Modern periods. If anyone has any book suggestions, I’d love to hear.
Looking forward to talking books and meeting new “book” friends.
Hey I'm here to ask question.
I'm from Switzerland and my question would be about Patrick Suskind's Perfume.
Oh and maybe another about Chekhov's Short Stories :)
thanks xx
Hello.
I've been here a couple of months now but made no introduction when i signed up because I wasn't sure whether I would stick around, but now I've tested the water and found the temperature to be just to my liking!
What do I like reading? Here's a sample:
Fyodor Dostoevsky - Brothers Karamazov (just finished)
Crimethinc Collective - Days of War, Nights of Love (currently reading)
Herman Hesse - Steppenwolf (next on the shelf)
An eclectic mix, I'm sure you'll agree ;)

I am really a novice at blogging. This is the first time I've ever tried so I hope it goes well!
My name is Krissy. I live in the beautiful country of New Zealand with my husband, three children, two dogs, four cats and three chickens.
I came across this website by accident but, as an avid reader, thought it could steer me to some great reading. I have yet to try any of the forums. I promise myself that I will have a good look at home but I have to prise the kids off the computer first!
Any crash course for dummies would be appreciated in assisting me to find my way around and become more involved.
Hello Everyone, My name is as you can see Gennaro Gerrard and I am a budding writer in the field of Real-Life Fiction. This forum is simply awesome and hope it grooms me into a great writer.

Hi,
I'm Sascha and I'm a professional performer, teacher and director who loves reading books and plays :) This seemed like the perfect forum to discuss things literature and theatre related :)
Hi, I'm from the Netherlands. A half year ago I started reading Shakespeare and I really loved it! That's how I ended up here. I'm still in highschool so please keep in mind that my english won't be perfect :)
Hi, err, well, erm.
So hello then.
I was looking for references to the D.H. Lawrence piece called 'Self Pity', as I am using it in a presentation and wanted to ensure that I my information was not erroneous.
anyhow... This forum popped up and, after some reading, I decided that this may be a nice place to occasionally visit.
I don't know much about literature, although I am a professional Technical Author (which means I definitely don't know much about literature), but I do love to read and write, and enjoy communicating with like-minded folks.
Be well.
R.
