Thanks Emil, I too noticed the lack of detail.
Here in a bit, we will be heading out for some Chinese cuisine.
Stir fry szechuan shrimp w/ tea.
When we get back I'll crack open my new bottle of Wild Turkey 101.

Yes, Gilliatte it's amazing how after a Chinese meal we naturally revert to type and get down to basics. I've done it so often but have usually managed to conceal it from my Oriental friends who consider alcholol, except in limited quantities, as the Devil's brew and in which they may be right.
Chicken Caesar Salad. Yummy.

I had been indulging in some deliciously wicked chocolate eclairs, but I think they're all gone
:(
Jst drank some milk:D
Kopparberg Pear Cider, too sweet and so but it is refreshing (especially after 10 miles biking and 6 sets of tennis!).
Whale crackers. Oh yes, they're better than gold fish.
Ice, it could be argued i'm both eating and drinking. No matter how one sided that arguement may be.....
Yes unfortunately they do. So should you ever find yourself in the company of a lotus blossom, be prepared to order soft drinks and refrain from overindulgence in the real stuff.
Does anyone know where the 'Caesar' comes from in this meal?
After that amount of exercise, I would have spent the rest of the day (week?) drinking large quantities of whatever was to hand, except Fosters, which might as well be water.

The salad's creation is generally attributed to restaurateur Caesar Cardini, an Italian-born Mexican.[1] Cardini was living in San Diego but also working in Tijuana where he avoided the restrictions of Prohibition.[2] His daughter Rosa (1928–2003) recounted that her father invented the dish when a Fourth of July 1924 rush depleted the kitchen's supplies. Cardini made do with what he had, adding the dramatic flair of the table-side tossing "by the chef."[3]
I'm having oatmeal from oats milled in the south of France.
I'm eating a cereal mix of frosted flakes, with Nestle Fitness Honey & Almonds, with a tall glass of cold water on the side.
They sound more filling than goldfish
I'm doing an icy cold ice coffee with triple chocolate icecream, and munching upon a toasted roast lamb and salad sandwich, with a special sweet chili sauce bought especially for the occasion :)
Afters will be chocolate ice cream and fresh pear slices
I had to go out and buy a mouse as my other one had packed up. So I popped into a Wetherspoons for a pint or two which has determined my alcohol intake for this evening; which consists of a bottle of Soave to go with my Italian ready made salad that has a sachet of some kind of dressing which is very tangy and certainly livens up the food. I am just starting on some Vintage Cheddar & Onion Chutney flavour crisps.
