Thanks, I'll check it out. They really over did the negative quality in the beginning of the film and it seemed like this guys life revolved around saying no. It was nothing but caricatures.

hahaha
i don't know what to say about this. i like going to the beach, but this has too much sand in it you can feel the discomfort.
Gran Torino. I liked it. It's not a great movie, but it is good, I think. Clint plays Dirty Harry, but with a twist. 7/10
Just saw Welcome To Hard Times. It's the first western I've been able to sit through the first half hour of. I watched the whole thing and I really liked it. I was surprised when I actually became anxious at the outcome.
saw the first few minutes of Anna Karenina (the one with the guy who played Dr Octopus) then i realized i'm still reading the book.
The last movie I saw was Amelie, it was truly beautiful. It's quite peculiar that I have not seen it before. Be sure to watch it, even again, if you have seen it!

A Woman Under the Influence *****
I've rarely felt so drained of all emotion after watching a movie. The characters are like real people, Peter Falk and especially Gena Rowlands bring them to life and it hurts you so much as you watch them trying simply to be good to each other. If this doesn't make you cry, you probably shouldn't be allowed to live.
Nostalghia ****
Another great film by one of the best directors ever. The imagery is beautiful and some shots will stay in your mind for a long time.
Nostalghia is fantastic

Waltz With Bashir
A wonderful animated film about a filmmaker Ari who can't seem to remember any memories of his time during the first Lebanon War. Intrigued by this problem, he decides to engage in various meetings with old friends and comrades during said war. With these meetings Ari starts to remember the truth about the war, his memory, and himself.
A impressive film about the reality of war as well as an interesting meditation on memory.
The film won a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film and is nominated for an Oscar.
Powerful and Surreal with a great score by Max Richter

Underworld Three. It was great 3/5.
Hancock
-56/5
very shallow. Liked the You Tube clip on his attempt at saving the beached whale though....
I saw The Changeling and enjoyed it very much. 9/10
The movie was based on a true story, and what a gripping story it is.
The acting was very good, on all sides.
I thought that those in charge of makeup/wardrobe, etc., did a stellar job of capturing the late 20's and into the 1930's. Angelina's hair was awesome.
I'd recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't seen it.
