Hello to everyone!
I'm glad to have found this network!
Hi all! I actually found this place while studying for my exams (my english one in fact), which is probably one of the only positive attributes of studying I've encountered so far. I'm known as the bookworm in my group of friends and I love discussing literature, especially getting titles of books I haven't read yet! I hope to take part in the 'book club' here and probably read some short stories, maybe post some of my own! I used to write fanfiction (for those of you who are aware of the world of fanficiton, it's an intense place :P) but I haven't written a short story in a while.
So that's about it! Feel free to talk to me, I love new friends! :)
PS; You can call me Emma.
hello everybody,
I am writing a book - towards reality- or something similar.
One subject I would like to hear comments on is Global language. I am proposing to call it "Earthish". Based on modern English but including words and expressions from every other language which do not translate precisely enough.
The text would a selection of characters from several languages, chosen for clarity in straight, italic, and reverse italic without dots or tees. There will be no carriage returns. Lines would be written left to right for the first line then alternating right to left, left to right, and so on. words will be separated by midline dots no spaces and paragraphs will have two midline dots. Number separaters will be midline commas (maybe). hyphens will not be necessary, the dot separators will keep the word together.
I know that it might seem very congested with hardly any spacing visible, but it will be very compact and quicker to read and write.
Resting the eyes maybe a problem but we do not know that yet.
Some open mimded comments please.
Cheers Vanon:angel:.
Konnichiwa o.O
I have loved to read all my life. My favorite authors are Grace S. Richmond, Gene Stratton Porter, Louisa May Alcott, Harold Bell Wright, James Oliver Curwood, and Zane Grey; these are the authors that wrote the books that were my friends as I grew up and I still read them. I enjoy Lilian Jackson Braun, Rita Mae Brown, Susan Wittig Albert and Jan Karon, too. The list goes on and on. I love music, and, at my age, I still take voice lessons and sing for church. Life is good. My mother always told me to furnish my mind by reading good books and I think that she is right.
hello everyone! xD
Hello Everybody.

Hello Flow
Hello everyone.
I suppose I should introduce myself. :yawnb:
My name is Sami. First and foremost, I am a musician. Music ignites something in me, it's hard to put into words. I'm more likely to write lyrics than anything else, but initially I'd started out writing poetry and fiction.
I wouldn't say that I'm the most amazing author out there, but I do enjoy getting lost in my own storyline from time to time. I mostly write short stories, a few chapters at most.
Lately I find myself writing without such a simple beginning, middle, and end. More like a page torn out of a book; just a scene, a captured moment.
Anyway, I joined this site because I have one piece that I'd really like opinions on. Constructive criticism is the way to go.
So, thanks for reading this. Hopefully I didn't bore you too much. I'm off to explore the site.
Hello everyone...
good evening! :)
Hello everyone..
Hi, my name is Daniela. I am a student of history and love Liteatur. I am Brazilian and I'm 25 years old.
I have a blog called trecos & rags and unfortunately I am not very good in English, so sorry about the grammar errors that may occur.
Greetings honored members of this forum, I shall now introduce myself. My name is Patrik, I'm 16 year old and I love to read, although my terrible time planning I haven't gotten the the time I would wanted to have, but I will try to fix myself. To your knowledge, I haven't read much of the great pieces of literature that are a must read in a human's life.
Thank you.
