Do you read comics, or are you a pure book reader?
Pure book reader though I love some of the movie adaptations (Spawn, Hulk, X-Men, Batman). I don't like how its written out with all those pictures and word bubbles and things. My daughter's dad/my roommate is an a avid comic reader.
What is your pet peeve?
Apathy -- or worse, people who brag about their apathy. If you don't care, then go jump in the abyss. I'm sure it won't care either.
Do you live in a house/apartment/condo/tent. . . .?
Apartment.
If you were given a chocie of a year long free pass to your favorite restaurant or to a movie theater which would you choose?
probably movie theatre. I can make my own food. It's nice to get out of the house for some entertainment from time to time. Though most movies that come out now are total crap...
Do you have any recurring dream? And if so, what is it? (if you dont mind sharing :) )
I have had some dreams that I thought I had dreamed before, but I usually lose all details about my dreams within 5-10 minutes after waking up...unless I can explain them to someone else -- thus burning them into my head.
Have you ever woke up from an embarrassing dream? If you don't mind, what was it about?
The most recurring dream that I have is a dream where the dude from Napoleon Dynamite teams up with the Hulk and Captain Kirk. They build a tower of ravioli. Beef ravioli.
Same question.
I had a dream that I saw a coworker naked.
Have you ever had a dream that seemed to come true?
the above mentioned dream. (mine; not papaya's)
I literally laughed out loud. That's freaking great. *pulls out the dream dictionary* I wonder how we can interpret this
To answer the question: yes, it seems to me that I have, but I couldn't tell you what exactly. I just have a memory of that somewhere though I can't recall.
Does it frustrate you when people are too vague with thier answers?
Nothing frustrates me more!!:bawling:
Are u moody?
What do you mean my that!!!:flare:
just kidding...nope, I'm not :D
Do you like me?
Sure, you seem pretty nice.
If I was coming to dinner what would you cook?
Grilled Salmon with baby carrots and augratin potatoes preceded by a tossed salad. served with ice tea.
Coffee and a brownie/ice cream dessert
Would you bring anything (even though you were told that it wasn't necessary)?
Of course. It's always polite to bring something like a bottle of wine, or perhaps a cheese, cracker, and salame set, or a little something for desert. But you seem to have dessert covered so I'll bring the wine and Hors d'oeuvres (is that the correct spelling??)
What qualities do you most value in a house/dinner guest?
Normally I'd bring wine but I don't think you drink so i would bring either flowers or a dessert.
Dang it! Star beat me to it. I look for good conversation in dinner guests.
Have you ever taken anything from work for use at home (ie. paper clips, stapler, etc...)?
I'm a black pen klepto. And I always snatch a bunch of ointment from medical supply whenever I get a new tattoo. Actually, the nurses give it to me. And I've had to get bandages before. And medical masks when we thought a couple of our patients and staff had swine flu. But I only take that stuff after asking the nurses first.
What's your favorite side dish?
Potatoes. Boiled, mashed, stewed. I don't mind.
Are you big on technology?
I do like to keep up with technological advances and constantly attempt to gain a greater understanding of Quantum Physics/Theory. However, I’m not that bothered about owning new stuff.
Do you have a fetish for high-quality propelling pencils? :D
http://2pat.files.wordpress.com/2009...cal-pencil.jpg
I love a great mechanical pencil, but it does get embarrassing when I am caught with my pencil alone time...(you know...erasing that lead look off my face...;))
Do you have any other (tame) fetishes...those that you could actually share on LitNet that is?
I assume a tame fetish means out-of-the-gutter, so yes.
Guns. Pretty guns. Wooden-stock, shiny, smooth guns. Darker rather than lighter.
Does your mind live in the gutter?
No, it lives in my head.
Why are we talking about such strange things?
Nope. I think it's a great word :D
Have you ever formally studied philosophy?
Nope. I can't stand philosophy.
Do you think there are more than two practical things to do with a philosophy degree?
Haha guess I didn't need to ask that. I just read your blog!
Yes, there certainly are.
EDIT: Im an idiot and forgot to ask a question!
If you can't see the practicality of something, does that mean it does not exist?
uh-oh . . . no question . . . what do I do??? MOOOODS!!
I edited I edited!
Haha I was like "moods? what's a mood?" I got it now
No, you're not an idiot! Forgetful, maybe you got excited about your next post?
No, even if something is not practical (flies, mosquitoes, etc,) they still exist.
Did you believe in things that didn't exist when you were a little kid?
I had quite the imagination, but I didn't really believe. And I still don't believe in aliens and ghosts, etc.
How old were you when you realized Santa Claus wasn't real?
I don't remember how old I was, but I caught my parents eating the cookies I meant to eat before Santy got to them.
Did you ever believe in the Easter bunny?
I did indeed. My parents were very clever
Did you believe in the tooth fairy?
Well who the hell else is putting the money under my pillow? :eek2:
Do you believe in crushing peoples beliefs on a forum? :D
I don't remember...and what do you mean about Santa Claus?
What do you believe in that many people don't?
"Crushing" people's beliefs is pretty rude wherever you do it!
I believe in...hmm...I can't think of something that most people don't...
Would you engage in a polite discussion with someone whose beliefs contradict your own? :D
Yes...I haven't always been that way though...it hasn't always been so polite
Have you ever gotten the forum games confused?
Yes!
Is it wrong to point out where people are mistaken in their beliefs?
Not if it is a fact that you are correcting...not your own opinions...
Do you consider yourself opinionated?
Nope, there's nothing wrong with disagreeing. I do it a lot :D
Do you disagree with others often?
