Watch it sometime Bounty... it's a bit slow sometimes but there is a lot of hilarity in it... seen it many times :)

The best war novel I've read is "The Northwest Passage"... a grim read in spots but I enjoyed it... the movie adaptation was decent but nowhere as good as the book. "Battlefield Earth" was good 'cept the movie was terrible. Have reread both many times :)

I love nature walks, but the nearest to nature I have close to my building is Parque Augusta. I guess that both of you only have to open the door to step into nature.

Nay. I will use mosquito repellent with DEET during mosquito season on my skin though.

Nay... 2-seasonal ponds... they disappear in high summer until the rains come.

Nay. Currently I lend books from digital libraries like archive.org and as I am a very slow reader I take care to renew them in time.

Have food in store for very snowy days?

Aye... ramen noodles and canned goods, some pasta... usually have plenty of eggs - down to my last 3 eggs due to prices.
