re: ??? I have these motion sensing lights (Mr. Beams) that come on and stay on briefly when I go from one spot to another that are battery operated. If I stay in or leave a room I'll have Alexa/Ziggy/Echo control the lights using voice commands... They are also on a time routine after dusk.

Aye... 2-plants in a single flower pot, 1-grassy type and 1-shamrock plant (2-indoors)... all flower when they feel like it, lol :)

News junkie... Fox news, CBS news, KCRA news, Al Jazeera news, ... listen to custom feeds on Alexa app (flash briefings) and read my custom RSS news feeds on igHome and google news :)

Warm meals?
Aye... Mostly warm meals... Cold 30g protein drink as a supplement when I miss a meal otherwise... lately snacks of string cheese or bananas or mandarins (or a combination of same) serve as a meal. I reached my weight goal at the end of the year and have lost an additional 5 lbs (2.27 kg) in January just with judicious eating and exercise. Planning on some fried chxn tonight - a guilty pleasure on occasion :)

Nay... I remember when I was a boy in Seattle hearing about people losing fingers with firecrackers/M80's that stuck with me... I've written at least 1-poem about the rocket variety, but I've never really fully embraced them. In one poem I was more mesmerized by some hippies blowing smoke into bubbles at a Stockton, CA venue during the 1967 4th of July spectacle:
fireworks 1967
crackers and squibs sport as children delight
down by the river this 4th july night
hippies laud the summer of love nearby
blowing smoke into soap bubbles on high
cannonades take charge launching to great heights
then blossoms and spinners emerge like sprites
the finale commands the heavens blaze!
crosettes and willowsvie with strobes, bees, and whistles
fish dart a'glitter
