Um.. hello.

I stumbled on this forum while I was surfing on net, and was interested in one of the posts.

Well, first, about me. I'm female, with age around 20 plus-or-less, and currently living on Northern Hemisphere (so it's winter here..). And no, my first language is not English, so forgive me if I make grammatical mistakes here and there.

I adore vanilla, as spice or fragrance or flower, and I love literature, hence my nickname's VanillaInk.

Since I like literature, I was immediately attracted and registered as a member once I saw the title of the forum, knowing there are also others with same interest as mine in this forum. I hope to stay around long and enjoy the time I'll spend here with all of you guys!

Hello everyone and nice to meet you all! I just stumbled upon this forum whilst looking for commentary on God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy. I am 17 years old and have been a very "heavy" reader since around fifth grade. I like a wide variety of genres and authors, and I am very much looking forward to finding some fantastic recommendations/discussion. I'm generally quite the tentative poster when it comes to these types of forums so please treat me kindly if I ever venture to post alongside any of you!

Personal tidbits:
I am a Minnesota gal, youngest in my family, and currently a senior in Highschool. I have been recently accepted to college (Huzzah!) where I plan on double majoring in English Literature, and (Most Likely) Creative Writing. Alongside that I am going to minor in Japanese Studies. I have been teaching myself Japanese for about 4 years and would someday like to teach English in Japan. :] My other hobbies include sketching, watching Anime, and playing Video Games.

I love reading but tend to have a little problem with reading some material when it comes to school. Like I said I love reading but when im told to read a book for school it loses that edge. Im 13 but can act older than I am and youngr.(Im that weird kind of random the kind that know how to act good). I love drawing and writning. I've been doing so for a long time!I'm also a bookworm!If I can be anywhere in the world I would be on a hill in the rain at night. Or anywhere with rain is ok. I love the rain even though my quote for the rain I made up was "The sky darkers as the ocean of eternity poured her sorrows unto this digraced world" ya pretty good right? anyways I also loe animals! You would most likely find me listening to music or humming a song. If Im not(which is amazing) then im probaly daydreaming. Even though im not the best at trusting I stil like to meet new people. Thats why im so open on this kind of stuff. Well now to describe myself right?
Well my sster recentlyly erm....cut my hair so its now barley to my shoulders. It's dark brown almost black with a red tint. Oh and to add on to that I have long bangs in my face.( they reach my eyes and cover the top of them.). I'm short (4ft.11) and my freinds call me their kitty so I guess i look like a cat? don't worry im not hairy my sis tells me my eyes remind her of a cat bacause of how they are shaped and arched that way. oh and they are reddish brown. I'm half mexican but got my dads skin(the only kid who did) so i'm tan. I'm not stick thin(i have meat on me) but small enough to look a curvy skiny(ya know a big butt and hips!!)I have kinda full lips. I never wear makeup but my freind lesley says i don't need it since i have naturally long eyelashes and kinda rosy cheeks ^_^. I invented a smile that gets my way(most of the time) with teachers.Well I can I have a lost look in my eyes because i'm a dreamer.When you first see me im shy but when you get to know me im far from it. you will see the reckless,rebellious,laidback but hyper,kinda naive,gracefully clumsy, unforgettable,funny me!!
