Not mean at all Idril. ;) I got what looks like a greatest hits. It's called The Best of What's Around, a 2 CD collection of sutdio and live pieces. I haven't taken it out of the plastice yet.

C'est imposible! Never heard a Dave Matthew's song? Blasted. The vocalist's voice and their compositions are enough to keep your ears glued.

Okay, for anybody that has never heard this band before you have to asap! They are the best thing to ever come out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

One Great City - The Weakerthans

Showing some city pride (one great city is Winnipeg's motto) it would seem, when in fact the chorus echoes "I hate Winnipeg." Seriously though, they are an amazing band from my town very dynamic with shades of folk, punk, and about a billion other genres.

Useless Desires ~ Patty Griffin...a recomendation from Riesa. It's taken me some time to get used to the country twang in her voice because I really do not listen to much..or any...country but the song is really starting to grow on me.
