391 new? I won and lost some competitions last night, and one of the judges did a pretty good job of messing up the line up... Anyway, I slept in today, and just ate some waffles which were in the fridge.

392. I'm moving offices because my boss is a ****er. oh wait that didn't rhyme.
393 Piglet, what type of competitions?
Papayahead, it's okay. let it out.
CCCXCIV Demonstrations and Performing arts
395 That's cool.
396 Congrats on the wins, Piglet. Sorry about the losses.
397 Thanks! The one judge goofed up a ton, and messed up the overalls and line up for state competition. I got second for intermediate demonstrations, and then I got higher overall than the intermediate champion? And there was other messy stuff.
398 Darn those mixed up judges.
399 - I hate it when that happens! Sorry, Piglet :rage:
CCCC Greetings fellow Spenserian.
CCCCI I don't really care... It wasn't too bad, there was a contest last summer where it was horrid. (my opinion, though I was not involved) Anyway, I am either an overacheiver, or everyone is an underacheiver. I think it's the latter. I would do so bad if 4H was like it was 40 years ago.
Technically 402- I think! Good morrow, PL. I just realized that I didn't answer you on the Spanish lit questions - I mainly used works by Cervantes, Lope de Vega, and Rojas, although I did some mental acrobatics and used So Juan Inez de la Cruz as a direct descendant of the Golden Age in the New World. My ultimate favorite, however, was the piqaresque novel Lazarillo de Tormes by an unknown author
CCCCIII Piglet, that's probably what the kids 40 years ago said to themselves too. ;)
404- What other 4-H projects are you involved in Piglet?
405 Hyacinth--sounds like you got to work with some great Spanish material. I've read Lazarillo de Tormes in translation and remember enjoying it. I see you've posted in the Spenserian section. I'll have to go check it out, and then I've got to run. Have fun counting all.
