I am lucky I have money to lend to money I do know at the moment
um... same question...
my question is, If you don't know them, how could you lend them money?
as I understood the question before it was said that you don't know them in the meaning that they aren't your friends, you don't know them well, you probably say hello to them or met them a couple of times, but you don't know how they really are. I think that was the question before....
and no I don't I'd lend money to someone I don't know...
Is it still the same question Kaltrina?
No I wouldn't. Lending makes the borrower your servant. I don't care to make anyone my servant.
Would you borrow money from the bank if you want to but a car? Or would you borrow it from a friend/ relative/ parents?
Borrow from a lending institution such as a bank. NEVER lend or borrow from realitives, it will usually cause trouble.
In a break-up of a relationship, can you walk away with no regrets?
If your Answer is "no", rethink your decision.
I'd like to think so, hopefully I am not going to have a break up and I won't have to find out this time around.
Would you spend Christmas in a exotic location, or are you more for the familiar?
Yes, in a heartbeat!I would love to spend the summer holidays in as many interesting, delightful, and exotic places as possible.I dislike the idea of going to the same place all the time for a break, I find that too monotonous and predictable. There are still so many beautiful and enchanting sites I'm yet to visit, but, hopefully, I will get to travel to in the near future.:)
If your good friend was a well known writer and, many years later, they left you all of their belongings, and suddenly one day a literary historian appeared and asked you to give them to him/her(so he/she could write about the poet and publish a book) would you give them up?Though there is no guarantee that they will be returned and this remains your only connection with your deceased writer friend?
The question then becomes do I deny my friend the aclaim that he/she has rightfully earned or satisfy my own selfish desire to hold them close to me. I think I must alow my friend that chance to shine, but that one original poem would remain with me, framed and on the wall in a place of honor. I can always purchase the book if the other material is not returned. It may not be the originals, but the words are my friend's communication to the world.
Same question, it's a very good one.
Hmm...probably. Emily Dickinson, Edgar Allan Poe...the list goes on of writers who have only become famous after their death. It wouldn't be fair to deprive my friend of a place in the annals of literary history.
Same question!
I would offer up zerox copies.
same question.
I like radshaws answer.
would you(and this is borrowed from Zobmondo!!)rather..."for the rest of your life, eat your least favorite foods hygienically prepared or eat you favorite foods prepared in risky circumstances?"
Depends how risky the circumstances. Will I be finding Band Aids in my food? I think I would go with my favorites.
Same Question.
If my least favourite food was also healthy, I'd probably go for not risking.
Same question.
I would have to say my favourite foods, but only as long as I could wash them myself in some fresh waterfall or with a bottle of water, as I would have to avoid my least favourite foods altogether.I would never choose the meat or chicken, been a vegetarian for five years, sorry there.;)
Would you enter the most beautiful Labyrinth which could take you to some enchanting place or lead your to an early demise( if you do not find it in time and continue walking around for many years), though you don't know which way is home and you may get lost?
Almost certainly. Labyrinths, by their original definition, have but one path (it just happens to be very long). Did you mean a maze? :p
Same question!
I am a risk taker, so yes.
Would you like to have more sisters or brothers?
Brothers, I have one sister, and I don't care for her much, she's a nuisance.
Would you prefer an extremely emotional person or a calculating rationalist?
Tough one, I have difficulty with extremists of any sort, but I guess a calculating rationalist would be more tolerable.
Same Q.
Neither.I like a combination of both.I think it's desirable if one can have a personality which can sustain boths sides of thought and feeling.
If you captured a rare and exquisitely beautiful butterfly would you keep it for yourself or let it go and release it into the wild?
It depends for what. As a friend? As a brother or sister? As a wife? As an employee or workmate or boss?
Let me assume friend and say, emotional--although I can see how that can get old.
...err..what happened?I thought it was now my question???...
If you captured a rare and exquisitely beautiful butterfly would you keep it for yourself or let it go and release it into the wild?
let it go, obviously.
Would you join a demonstration for the freedom of speech even if you could risk prison?
let it go, obviously.
Would you join a demonstration for the freedom of speech even if you could risk prison?
Yes, if it was in the case where I was living in a nation under the rule of a tyrannical leader.
Would you undergo a risky operation to save the life of a good friend, though it may leave you with a permanent scar or emotional trauma?
I don't know... maybe, if there is no one else to do it. It depends on how good the friend, on whether one good enough to take care of me if it doesn't go right. :)
Very Good Question, Ariel. Same Q.
If it is one of my best friend and i'm the only one who can help him then i will..
But i think there is a chance i'll chicken out...
I liked the question too Ariel, good one..
so same Q.
For the scar I already have a prety good and big one. I think yes I would. At least I would give my existance a meaning. But only if it's somebody I truely love (family or beloved). Better call yourself something else than a human if the one you love perished because of your gread and fears. You may lose an organ but you will live proud and with a life worth living. By the end, we will all die.
Here is a bow to you Aurora Arielfor your good questions. Same Q.

Same q. (a great one Aurora Ariel ;))
Yeah, I also agree with you Adil and Kalt. One's life is more important than a "scar"
Love is eternal in human's heart so I think that I might even risk my life for the sake of my friend.
(Good Question)
My friend's life is more important than a scar or even emotional trauma. Scars eventually become something to talk about and emotional trauma can be worked through, but a life can only be saved by your sacrifice at that moment, whatever it may be. A resounding yes to the question. :thumbs_up
And a very excellent question to pass on to the next person. ;)
yes, and it reminds me of this slightly purple urban myth:
"Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at Stanford Hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liza who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her five-year-old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes, I'll do it if it will save Liza."
As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheeks. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away?"
Being young, the boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give her all his blood."
Would you rather clean public toilets or play nude basketball with extremely large, sweaty and hairy men? Sorry, I'm swiping that idea from a Ben Stiller movie.
Helloooooo, public toilets!!
Same question! (what kind of sick person are you???)
(grins and snickers wickedly) can you snicker wickedly? how about a horse nickering wickedly?
I'll play basketball naked with the sweaty guys.
You find a really cute sweater (cool shirt for the guys). There are only two colors green and blue, you can only buy one which would you buy?
(hmmm... wonder where this question came from?)
Well, I'm a guy. Like most guys, I really don't care. But if I'm buying the sweater it will be blue, because I wear jeans most of the time. Also blue is the color of serenity, for those of you who may be into that. Green is a calming color also, but for me, blue is better. Besides, my eyes tend to change color according to what I have on. Freaky. They won't turn brown, but green, grey, blue (all shades).Quote:

same q
Well that depends, three thoughts work just fine, two is not quite the right number for me. I Usually combine the two into one actually completely different thing. So I guess that's a no.
Would you fly across the world just to randomly meet people if you could?
Yes, I'd love to.
Same Q.
Right now if i could. plane ticket please!
Would you chose eternal life if you'd know the you will pay by seeing every one you'll ever know die before you ?
(since you will never die...)
Nope. In about five billion years, the world will be broiled away by the expanding sun. If I had to go through that but not die...wow, that'd hurt.
