depends on what the day has in store... if I'm outdoors, waking up at dawn is best. Hunting or hiking is best in the early morning.

Is there a difference? Both kind of sting my throat.

Depends what you want out of the deal. Um, like, hypothetically, if you want your country NOT to get bombed again.... LOVE. But respect is better than either.

for a conversation or whatever: do you like to approach someone first, or have them approach you?

i am the approacher, as a rule. i am the kind of person that can start a conversation with someone in the checkout line at the grocery store, or anywhere else really. i have a harder time in social situations that are really important, like going to a party where its important to make a good impression (i went to the party that a couple of the professor's from my uni threw, celebrating their wedding anniversary. i was petrified. i think because i was so flattered that they considered me, a mere student, worth inviting)

do people that talk to you in lines (at the bank, or doctor's office, or whatever) irritate you?

Depends what mood I'm in, and what they're talking about, and where we are, and whether I'm busy or thinking about something. But usually...yes. LoL.

at weddings: rice or confetti or bubbles?

i would rather have people throw money at my wedding. however, i will throw confetti at other peoples weddings, if i must throw something. its just going to get thrown out anyhow (often they use the pieces of paper left from punching holes in sheets of looseleaf and such), and it biodegrades

listener or talker?

LoL That's okay -- I always have trouble thinking of a this-or-that, but then my other-thread questions all seem to end up this-or-that's anyway. :confused: BTW, WELCOME BACK VB!! :wave: yay!!

I'll talk if no one else is, to keep the conversation going. Or if I have a thought you can't shut me up. :D But if someone else is talking I'm much happier just to sit and listen.

'rithmetic, but if I had to choose between the two listed I'd pick reading. I can't write worth a darn let alone getting my thoughts in print and having them resemble anything in my melon.

peanuts or popcorn?

popcorn, but only with a bit of sugar and salt and butter. not the healthiest snack out there.

camping: roughin' it with just a sleeping bag and a backpack of canned food with only a screwdriver to open it OR a camper or RV with a microwave, shower and sattelite dish?

Roughing It (however without the canned food, a fishing rod and decent knife is all you need)

i have a desktop, want a laptop. next on the list....

angels or fairies?

I commend you on not spelling it "faeries." Due to the irritating proliferation of fairies on teenage girls' teeshirts and notebooks and everything else you can silk screen, I'll say angels. Some of the early renaissance artists did some interesting stuff with them. Still two of my least favorite fantastical creatures, though. :p
