Welcome!
Hello,
I'm Terrie in California. I'm 51 years old, and I'm very impressed to see so many teenagers on this site! As a former teacher, it makes me happy to see that there are so many kids out there who are into reading and literature! My favorite genre is fantasy, and I love to write, especially young adult fantasy.

Hello, all.
I'm actor, teacher, writer, whose current project is a website that combines classic lit and improv (www.actingitout.com). I've used the online-literature site for quite a while and thought it was time I joined the forum here!
Hope to become better acquainted with fellow lit lovers,
Diane

Hello everybody my name is Lucy and as you all may know I am new to this site. I like poetry I find it beautiful and romantic. My favorite poem is one written by Robert Frost "Stopping by Woods." I am in my early 40's and I am now finishing my second semester of college. It has been a struggle for me since I work full time but I refuse to give up.
Umm...Hello! I'm a student and I have to admit, my standard of english isn't too high so please pardon any errors!! I like to draw, watch anime and read and I absoutely LOVE chocolate and coffee!! I can get high all on my own; my friends say that I'm easily amused so maybe that's a reason...Last but not least, nice to meet everyone!
Hi all. :D
I'm Jessie and I'm a college student majoring in Creative Writing. I'm currently working on my first novel and everything is going swimmingly. I have loved reading ever since I was little and writing has been my passion since I was 13. I'm a playwright as well, but I really want to be a novelist. Hopefully, I can get my work published. That would be amazing.
I have a blog. It's http://bookiewriter.blogspot.com! I chronicle my writing my first novel, and other subjects along the way.
So there ya go!
Hey.
I'm eighteen and the poster child for literature geeks worldwide. Seriously, I read Shakespeare and Milton for fun. Other than that, I'm an artist, musician (trumpet, guitar, piano, and voice), writer, and actress. I guess you could say I'm pretty well-rounded, artisticly speaking. Other than that, I can't really think of much else to say.
Hi.
...
That's all you get.

No, I'm Stuart, 18. I study Scottish literature, English literature and History of Art at university.
My main interest aside from reading is music. I play the guitar. I play a lot of jazz/jazzfingerpicking stuff but I'm pretty happy playing most things. That said, i've never really gotten into metal and 'hard rock' and that whole side of music.
I'm also quite interested in art, Jackson Pollock being a particular favourite of mine. Also Rothko and Newman, Monet, Gaugin.
That's the idea of this thread you? hope so
I'll keep this short and sweet!
I'm Scottish and currently studing for my Masters in Literature and Film in Scotland.
The majority of my highschool education took place abroad, mainly Prague and Dubai, so I got the travel bug early on.
I was a professional ballet dancer and danced for several companies throughout Europe, however although I love dance I wanted something more from life, so here I am at Uni!
Music is my second passion in life, I'll listen to anything that's worth listening to, but essentially I'm a proud rocker. I love going to festivals and gigs, and have been lucky enough to meet a few of my musical idols. I'm pretty musical myself, playing piano, clarinet and bass guitar- I attempt to sing!
Literature has always been a part of my life. It can teach you so much about life that you yourself will never experience, plus it sparks and extreme amout of debate which is always great fun. I would have to say that Lolita and Mrs Dalloway are two of my top books, mostly due to the amount of thought they provoke and the conceptions they challenge. I'm also quite a big Graphic Novel fan, perhaps the genre isn't extremely notable, but I love the rawness of it.
I'm quite an arty type I guess, however I'm not one that likes something because I'm told that it's a great piece of art and therefore should find it spectatcular. I adore the 1950's pin up scene and Gil Elvgren. I also have a passion for the art and history of tattooing.
I'm pretty liberal and open-minded with the majority of things and respect people's opinions, however I will not be preached too.
Anyway, I'm bored of writing about myself to be honest, so I'll leave it at that!
