Hello again!
Hello sir, welcome to the forums!
Do you enjoy teaching abroad?
I am currently working at an English Department at a private university in South Korea.
I love teaching abroad, but it can be frustrating sometimes. But I wouldnt trade the freedom (academic and ability to travel) for the wordl!
Thanks for askin!
cool, I would love to have a job that encouraged travel. How many languages do you speak?
I speak english (obviosuly) -- my french is okay and my Korean is passable, but my Japanese is weak.
Reading and learning Kanji (Japenese) is much harder than Hangul (Korean). How about you?
Hello. New here. I love literature, so I thought this was the perfect place for me.

Hey Bronk!
Me too! Welcome aboard? What's you fav. genre?
Welcome  :
miss fire-- Is there a context for the funny little animated square guys in your avatar, or is it a non sequitor? I find them amusingly hypnotic :).
stevnl--glad to welcome you to the forums. Hope you find a little home away from home here :).
bronkx-- Hi, hope you enjoy it here.
Welcome steven and bronk!
I speak english, and I can get by in french, I know some german, and my mandarin is laughable, but I'm still working on it. It's the subtle differences in tone that get me.Quote:

Hello everybody, I am just posting my first comment. It's kind of an introduction. I love literature, infact that's my profession. I write and read a lot. I enjoy all genres and I look forward to a wonderful interaction within the community.
Cheerful welcomes to:
Jackyyy: Welcome aboard. I've always liked Wuthering Heights myself, though it's been some years since I last read it. I like the first half better than the second though.
Samchim: What is your literary related profession? Teacher? Writer? I'm going into teaching myself (currently in grad. school).
Hope you both have fun here.
Hi All
Thought i'd pop in and do an intro of myself :P
I'm from Australia, born in Thailand, my parents are Laotion and i have a mix of Thai, Laos and French in me..
I love reading (mostly classics), writing, cooking, i've just developed a new interest in scrap booking.
I work in the motor industry dealing with mechanics all day long (i have a passion for cars also)
BUT i will always be a classic girl at heart... i love all the old fashioned simple things in life.. and oneday i hope to own a place out in the country with huge land, a big tree in the front yard that has a tryre swing and white picket fence.
