Way back up somewhere before Sin went off on a tangent, the question was asked, what is embarassing about making money? The way you make it might be embarassing, illeagal, or downright dog-dirty but untouchable. I begrudge no one any amount of money they make with honesty, but I scorn those who pad their own pockets at the expense of others.
My question is this: One worker will lose his job. However, he can keep that job which he needs if the other workers will agree to a 50 cent an hour pay cut. This will affect only seven people, of whom you are one. Would you take the cut or say good-bye to the worker?

ouch, that's tuff. i don't got a job, but with any thing that would be painfully hard. i really don't know what i'd do.

Most everyone I work with is hard working good people. 50 cents an hour would be $6 a day for me. I could give up $6 a day. Besides, losing one person on my crew would make much more work for me. All my associates are worth much more than that.
Would you allow a homeles person to live on your property, or even in your home if they had absolutely no where else to stay?

No I would not. Unless I own a homeles shelter that is. Otherwise, he can take a hike. This may sound cold, but letting a homeless person stay at my place is inviting trouble.
