It Came Out of the Sky - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Big Sky -- Reverend Horton Heat
I've seen clips from his TV show. Good God, was that bizarre.
I can highly recommend his two greatest hits albums. I've also got Louder and Funnier, Riot Squad, and Musical Depreciation, which have more of his less "wacky" (but still often funny) work. Plus, IIRC, that last also has a completely different arrangement of his Nutcracker Suite.
And boy, do I wish Heart had stuck with their Dreamboat Annie sound instead of going to generic arena rock. That's still my favorite of their albums.
