Actually, I thought the same as Pen based on the avy.
Ok, still Pendragon's turn for compliment... :)

It's interesting that you mention the avy. It's actually an emblem/device created by J.R.R. Tolkien for the character of Idril from The Silmarillion. He made devices for all the major characters and Houses from that book and to a lesser extent LOTR. I've always been drawn to that particular device partially because I love the character of Idril (who is known for having beautiful feet and always being barefoot ;) ) and also because I too, have always thought it looked Native American. The Plains Indians, Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikira are the tribes I'm most familar with and it really brings those tribes to mind for me. I'm so glad to hear you also thought it looked Native American because I've mentioned that to some people and they claim they can't see it but then again, I think it was probably all English people I talked to about it and what do they know from Native American? ;)
And the barefoot thing is because that is my preferred state and I'm renowned for my ability to walk the prairie and climb buttes and rocky terrain with only my beautiful but mighty feet, much to my mother's chagrin. :p
And I have spent a good portion of my childhood and life hanging out on "the rez" so while you were way off, you were at least close.;)
And we're still waiting for Pendragon to make his compliments...
That sounds interesting Idril, I did not know that particular thing about Tolkien.
And no, I meant it is Pen's turn to RECEIVE a compliment, I just wanted to comment on his post (and not receive a compliment myself by mistake)
You know what though? Pen is such an awesome guy, with such interesting things to say that even though I am bad at compliments...
How could I fail at complimenting with such a subject as Pendragon. I send an electronic hug to the dragon himself!!!
The PAPAPAPAM demonstrates considerable knowledge and a Holmesian deductive power in placing the PAPAPAPAPAM (or something like that- the PAPAM, anyway) on a reservation.
The PAM is all too modest in calling a compliment directed at her a "mistake".
The PAM has always intrigued me, I wonder what goes on in her subterranean world.
The PAM is cordially invited to check out the PAPAM's place and stay as long as the PAM wants
The PAM is very hospitable.
The PAM is invited too.. The more the merrier
The PAM is able to accomodate mass interest in herself . . . she's probably used to such things by now. : - )
The PAM's are mutually endearing and I am amazed by the openness they both exude. I am humbled in the PAM's presence.
The PAM is a kindly lady and a good mother.
The PAM is outspoken and ready to say exactly what he thinks or feels. :D The PAPAM is so nice . . . a commendable characteristic that is second in my eyes only to their phenomenal poetic abilities. :)
the PAM is a goodly man and wears the most fashionble leg warmers for a lunge lizard.
actually, the PAM is a splendid versifier.
Hahaha.
The PAM is still the poet laureate of lit net.
