A dark day has settled upon my work. The HR manager came in today, we knew somebody was being let go, but the big surprise was who they put in her place. We have just gone from the frying pan and into the fire.
Anybody need a chemical engineer??

How sad - I can certainly feel your pain in losing something you use for creating art - what a loss. If it makes you feel any better, I could certainly lend you my pen (I must flaunt some pictures) - Venetian glass pen:Quote:

Oh, no! Papayahed, I cannot apologize enough to hear of your unfortunate news! Obviously they do not realize the great loss of your disappearance; they will notice, surely. If you need any consolation, you know you have many friends here! ;)Quote:

Oops! So much for trying to understand everything after I just completed my undergraduate thesis for nursing school.Quote:

PAPAYA, NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD FIRE YOU. YOU WILL ALWAYS MAKE IT.Ireally believe that.
Congratulations Mono, that is very impressive.
Poor darling Elizabeth, I know how you feel. I have an angel it is frosted glass and sparkles and I got nervous and bumped him and he fell and now part of the wing is shredded and missing and he is very dreadful looking. I meant to put that part of the wing up higher, someone I fear has tossed it into the bin. My poor angel, I can't cry anymore over him. I let him down and he gave me so much happiness.Every thing I do, every decision I have made lately has been so wrong. I have had it with me. dunce dunce dunce. :bawling:

I believe, by the very nature of the type of person you are Papaya that you will always come up on top. that was then, this is now. You are GOOD at what you do, the bottom line is always to increase profit for the corporation. I am confident in your ability to meet the tests. And besides..................I know a guy...............(call me)
Once I had a thought and shaped it in a real figure, than it personalized and becam true; I drew a picture and spell life on it and it became alive; but then I've realized it was just a dream.
that was almost poetic :)
and poetry make me happy
it also reminds me of this:
I’m looking at her
Straight into her eyes
And how pretty she is
Sitting by my side.
The look she sends
Touching my soul
Looking through
With those serious eyes.
Pretty as all
And ever can be
Seeing my heart
Grow larger than thee.
We move slowly
For the moment
But then I see
There is no movement;
She
Is
Not
There.
darling Adil,
I MISS YOU , and that was poetic and gorgeous. Dirt, go to his posts and read some of them, he is an awesome poet and I collect his writing.
Dirt, I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL YOU POST YOU KNOW WHAT.YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAYYY
well, rach, it's done :D
hope you're happy ;)
Yes, indeed, I have completed my undergraduate thesis! My fingers and wrists still ache from all of the typing, having completed so much in one day (yesterday). Also having completed my internship (with a job interview on Monday for a position I greatly desire in the intensive care unit), it looks like 'smooth sailing' for a few weeks, until graduation. :banana:Quote:
