ZACHARIUS AND HIS SISTER
Zacharius En Zun Zusje
Zacharius and his sister,
Saw a swan one day,-
He said, "It is a seagull."
She said, "It's a rooster, I say!"
Then along came Simon Wille:
He said, "Both of you are silly!"
Delightful anaphora poem... will share next Thursdays at Two session :)
"Back in the dear old village," - Edwin Osgood Grover; After Many Days... https://www.theotherpages.org/poems/...rover0101.html
My tablet configurations aren't very good, so only half of the picture appeared before you copied everything on your post. Thank you for taking the trouble. Enjoyed poem and picture.
Also enjoyed the Grover poem. The atmosphere of older poems is so different. I often feel that I have to get back to them.

Well done. Evokes strong yet subtle images.
Agree with Mani. The Haiga seems to be similar to the haikai but 4-6-4.
