Hey now, he is the best hunter in the street, he dominates the area, a sleek and agile cat, but deadly afraid of anything that makes a noise, and in the winter is too afraid to go outside. :D
I was very proud he caught that rabbit.

Ah, he's got a softer side.
I can actually echo that sentiment. Every time my cat brought in birds (never rabbits!), I was a little proud of him. However, smelling the bird where he had left it behind the couch earlier that day, and subsequently fetching the carcass and disposing of it, really limited my appreciation of his feats.
Well the good thing is, he usually just comes in to show his catch, then goes out again and eats it. :) He is very well behaved, but still, I would rather he makes a display outside where he can show what he has caught, instead of bringing it inside.
The problem with the rabbit was that is was just so big and very bloody. I can imagine the smell having a negative impact on the appreciation of the feat.
let's see, the oldest is 11, and there was a time when the ages of the cats were 2,4,8, so that would make him now about 7 years old, being the middle one.
And, yes he truly is a warrior, although he is actually very sedate, and don't like to fight, as the youngest cat often challenges him, and instead of smiting him down, which he is easily capable of, he just runs away and starts miauwing for someone to let him out of the room.
Wow! For some reason I assumed that you had multiple dogs and that was all :p (when in fact you have cats and perhaps only one dog).
Someday I will likely have house cats (just to provide a little tension and interest to the household). I'm hoping that at that point I won't have to vaccinate them (as they are indoor animals) because vaccinations are incredibly expensive where I am living, and that's one of the main reasons why I haven't gotten a cat yet (that and the fact that I'm not sure if I can deal with an evil moral abomination running around my house at the moment :D).
Well, every house can have at least one evil abomination running around, so if you don't have a goldfish, I see no problems. :D
Anyway, got to go now.
Talk to you later.
See ya! Glad you stayed. :D
