I love to write poetry but also write some short stories when the mood hits me. Mostly fiction when I do. Drop by my site. I have also entered some contest to view some poetry.

To sell your soul, press the bottom most red button. I'll meet you when you arrive :D
Haha - yep yep.
Hi, everyone. I'm very much new, having just registered. I haven't participated in message boards in years, but when I found this place, I felt compelled to try again. Everyone seems nice, I look forward to being here a while!
Hello all! This is my first day, so I'm a little nervous... I love to read, but I've had trouble finding others who like to read. Isn't that odd? I live in a rural area, so there really aren't any reading groups. The local library activities are geared toward kids, so that's not really an option. I live 50 miles from the closest bookstore, so you can see my dilemma. I do have a friend that reads, but she doesn't keep her books which confuses me because I horde books. Currently, I'm reading Twilight. My 16 year old niece gave it to me for Christmas. She loves the series, and it thrills me that she's reading. Although she picked up the reading habit in detention... So, I guess being tardy every other day isn't a bad thing. I host a Monday morning talk show called, ADM. So, if you've ever run through my mind on the first day of the work week, you've probably heard it. It usually runs 7:30 to 8:00 during my commute. On occasion, special guests are featured. This week it was Elvis. He works at the Louisville Slugger factory, which I find interesting. I asked him why, but we were interupted by an Amish buggy making a right-hand turn. Well, I've rambled on enough. It's about time to run home, throw on every purple-colored article of clothing that I own and head to the ballgame. Wish us luck!

I’m Tony Jefferson, a relative newcomer to sharing my work with the world. I’ve been writing for about 16 years now.
I feel with each day that i write i get more insight into who i am and as i discover myself, hopefully i can help others express themselves. I love writing, it’s one of my passions, my other being massage.
As i’ve said before i am a soldier currently serving for the second time in Iraq. I will post a few journals about my time over here, hopefully by doing this people will start to understand, if only a little, the life of a soldier in Iraq.
More than just poetry, i will start to branch out into other things such as short stories and other things. For now, i just want to bare a piece of my soul to the world and help others discover themseves through poetic expression.
A little background on me. I was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas a little town in the southeastern part of the state. I come from humble begginings, but that didn’t stop me from going after my dreams and achieveing a few goals.
I love all forms of art, poetry is my thing, but i have an appreciation for art, music, and other forms of poetic expression.
I'm a Filipino, presently working in Kuwait "in the service" of the filipinos here.
I'm a wanderer when it comes to religion, born Catholic, then JW, then Kabbalah, Theosophy, Satanism, Islam. I'm not a good writer. My talent is to 'grab' other people's ideas bit-by-bit and mixed it to create a new one, but I never present it as my own. I am not trying to plagiarize anyones' splended ideas. For me Plagiarism is copying one man's work, but copying the works of many is RESEARCH.
"I have here made only a nosegay of culled flowers, and have brought nothing of my own but the string that ties them." (Montaigne)
Thank you very much.
My name is Ashley Elizabeth, but I've always gone by "Ashley-Eliz." It was just something my mother called me from a young age, that never seemed to go away.
Though my major has nothing to do with literature (I've fallen into the crack of Biotechnology, and health research) history, languages, and literature were my very first loves that never left my heart. I'm an avid reader, and I'll give practically any book, poem, short story, etc. a chance.
I decided I wanted to join a forum that let me be a geek. :-)
Greetings to all newcomers! Hope you enjoy Litnet. :)
