I must say that I am excited to find a forum of this sort; considering that I am an avid reader as well as a writer. I am extremely interested in existentialism and would consider myself an existentialist, but I despise labels. I am also interested in the "Beat Generation" writers, namely William Burroughs, as well as Oscar Wilde, Albert Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, Søren Kierkegaard and Friedrich Nietzsche. I believe this introduction shall suffice, good day all.

I'm glad to have found this board. I'm not sure how well I'll be able to keep up but at least I can finally chat some with people who have similar literary interests.
I am a second grade teacher in upstate NY (one of the only male teachers in my building). My favorite literary works are Oliver Twist, The Adventures of Tom Sawer, The Adv. of Huckleberry Finn, Peter Pan, among others. I've also made it partway through Les Miserable and am currently reading Treasure Island.
