Delightful poem. Re: music -"Unreal, give back to us what once you gave: / The imagination that we spurned and crave." I wonder what Wallace would think of our music post 1955 ? Enjoyed :)

:)
Enjoyed Angela's poem; it would seem the protagonist is not in a good place: "Do animals dream of the coming light / in their lairs beneath the snow? / I dream constantly of homelessness."... dreaming of escape.
Poem by a poet with an 'x' in their name:
"The sky doesn’t have a bed" - Hua Xi; THE SKIES DON’T UNDERSTAND... https://poetshouse.org/hua-xi-on-mul...-an-interview/

Agree. And maybe a feeling of getting used to instability: " My feet glide
effortlessly over the ice. No fear
of falling, no searching for
safe harbor. Just this flying."
Tailor I simply loved Hua Xi's multidimensional poetry. It's something totally new for me. How to use several forms of language to express the difficulty of finding one's place in the world. Taking the link to my other forum. I'll be back with the poem.

"Evening falls on the smoky walls,"."Ballad of the Londoner " by James Elroy Fletcher

S2 seems out of place for a non-Londoner perhaps. I think James could have said quite a bit more, still, I enjoyed this tidbit :)
