improved stupid looking symmetrically challenged meh
Glad you liked it Beaut
http://smilies-gifs.com/hola-adios/13hola-adios.gif
Nice symmetrical piece, welt... why do I often use symmetrical to define what welt does? Must be because it's symmetrical http://smilies-gifs.com/pensando/6pensando.gif
Cool Weltanschaaung - Purples! Eyes! Flames!
I tried that Max, but nothing's perfect - and in the case of Bryce, well, apart from the frequent crashes, it loads png's only as shapes without detail
I'll get there - I have to change the white to black
How bad :( It should load pngs properly, since it's a very established format now. I hope you find a solution, Mystyr.
http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/...rmystyry/b.jpg
A semi-solution - now the figures are transparent and I couldn't get their reflections in the water (actually it would be possible in paintnet - but I wanted to see what Bryce was capable of first)
That looks really nice. I'm recalling it's been a good while since the last time I used Paint.Net's water reflection plug-in... on a certain someone's half torso  I should use it more often. Water is relaxing, even in photo editions.
It looks cool Mystyry! I like how they're transparent. It looks so awesome. :D
It does. Such an artist http://smilies-gifs.com/hola-adios/13hola-adios.gif
Hehe. I noticed how we all did something in that last one. I did the two drunk guys, Max gave them a transparent background, and Mystyry put them on a cool glowing-green background. :D :p
True. We might consider to form an artistic trio http://smiles.kolobok.us/personal/paint.gif
Yeppers - I take it that you liked the green glow? I got some purple and blue glows beneath some red chessboard clouds coming up!
Another scene from the movie
http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/...ystyry/aaa.jpg
In the video the sun moves across the sky in the opposite direction to the clouds to give a more 3d effect :)
It has a feel of a circulatory system with a heart somewhere...
http://library.thinkquest.org/07aug/02154/heart2.gif
I like the differemt colors mystyry, and very interesting heart Max. :p
Hearts are indeed interesting, especially if one considers the various consequences of having one http://smiles.kolobok.us/artists/jus...C_thinking.gif
The most important thing about it is that it keeps you living. Trust me. That's all the positive it has.
If this was facebook, I'd click "like".

this was inspired by a recent run in with police and a very disturbing night including some police abuse/harassment I will probably be dealing with for the rest of my life.
<Blank>
This reminded me - the other day for lunch I found myself accidentally watching The View. They had a visiting art expert explaining why Andy Warhol's painting of Elizabeth Taylor was worth so much (because the artist has carked it) but also went into why blank canvas art (white on white, black on black) can command such high prices - what a scam!!! *chokes on coffee in a fit of jealousy*
Anyway - that was good Revolte - you should go on tour and be more famous!
http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/...styry/bDbb.jpg
(One of the good things about uploading stills is you can explore the detail more thoroughly)
Lol thank you, unfortunately I can't afford to go on tour at the moment, and for legal reasons foot traveling is out of the question for a while.
Also, that picture is amazing.
This will probably be my last for a while gonna run with what I have here and work on new stuff once I get burned out playing these infront of a crowd. I just released my demo:
http://www.archive.org/details/WolfCrackingVoicesDemo
Very nice piece Mystyry. And please don't choke to death on your coffee! I know it's hard to comprehend, but it's just the way this world is....
And Congrats on releasing your demo Revolte!
Here's a piece I was fiddling with...I kinda like the messy look better than my original piece~!

Original is attached.
I bluffed myself and recorded a newer song already lol, used a collection of clips from documentaries.

wow- i've missed a lot in my absence, hopefully soonish I will be able to post my newest works. :( but here it is 2:05am and I should really be finishing up my work since I have to head out again in three hours :( Mystr- wonderfull pieces as always, you really must teach me how you do this... Beaut- amazing. Revolte-congrats on the demo Max- :D
Strange and Eerie Beautifull - you've got something going on that's got me thinking in layers and dimensions
Another good one Revolte - odd clip, but appropriate (in a protesty way obviously)
Thankyou Steph - and whenever you're ready
Another still:

I kind of want to be engaged to your work. Seriously.
k, my turn. Did my own back ups on this one, the end result:

Thanks Steph!
Mystyry: Can't wait to see what I've inspired you to do! (Oh dear, why did that just sound conceited?)
I'm supposed to be studying for a psychology exam, but doing morphs seems by far more appealing to someone like... if there's such a thing as someone like me  So I discovered that a certain someone can be morphed into a certain feline and vice versa:
Apologies if it takes long to load, but it's an animated GIF and those can get big, though I optimized it as much as possible. It's also intended as a belated birthday present I promised a while back http://smiles.kolobok.us/artists/jus...C_thinking.gif
By the way, congrats to the rest of artists http://smiles.kolobok.us/personal/hi.gif
Oh my Max! I'm really speechless right about now! I love it! Really, I do, and thank you! It's one of the best presents I've ever received! :cryin: It's beautiful!
What I can't understand is how and why in the world my work has been profaned. It has 26 frames and it's been cut down to 14. That's why the ugly green stripe at the bottom, which of course it's not present in the full version, and that's why the morph back from tiger to Beaut can't be seen :( One works on something and people can't see it in its full. I am somewhat pissed, I must say http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/ireful2.gif http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/ireful3.gif
However, you're welcome Beaut http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/...f?t=1287881256
I think you need a hug http://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/hug/t4604.gif
:)
Doing a little test I come to the conclusion that it must be a photobucket issue. Maybe they cut down the viewing bandwidth for big files, though I never thought that a one megabyte animation would be that big for them. What bugs me much is that you can't see the complete version. I wish I could show it somehow :( My work that took me a day has been mutilated http://smilies-gifs.com/emoticonos-grandes/6grandes.gifhttp://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/...f?t=1287886047
I actually draw pretty well, but I dont exhibit to the public. Sorry. I dont like fame and compliments, not like I'm tearing myself down. I just dont, k? When you show something that you love, like a song or a book, or a drawing, you cant really think about it, which is what makes it good. Then the value is diminished. The persons voice will drive you up a wall. But if you are close enough to someone, it is still rock. But if the person is loud, rowdy, and that stuff, it will ruin it's serenity. If the person even likes to talk, it does in general. The quieter the nature, the better.
:icon_bs:
Well, I agree it's a personal decision whether to show or not to show. As an alternative, you could possibly contemplate your work for a while until you have thought of it for long enough, until you're sure of what it means to you, and then you could maybe show it and see what others think. Just an alternative. Still a very personal choice.
I don't think I'll ever be a great artist myself. I just try to do a few things every now and then in order to check if I have some possibility to do this or that. I suppose history shall judge me, if ever
I love to make pixel characters, though. I try to upload but wont works.
You cannot do a direct upload here. First you'll need to upload the file on an image server like Photobucket or Imageshack, and then you have to paste here the link you get there (between the [IMG] and [/IMG] tags).
Back to my morph animation, I discovered that right-clicking on it and then clicking on "Save image as" should save the whole file to disk, so I'm guessing miss Beaut might want to do so if she wants to have the full animation without glitches and mutilations :)
Thank you Max! I feel so special to have something like this created especially for me! http://www.websmileys.com/sm/love/663.gif
It not possible.
I have no profile picture, and I dont want one.
Usually I post random images on randomly made websites by me...
WORST.
METHOD.
EVAR!
http://yoursmiles.org/csmile/friend/c0411.gif
Since I love my planet, I took a high resolution image of this one:
Then added clouds, oceans, a humble terrain texture and shiny space elements and came up with a piece I call "sundown" (I'd like to know if it looks any real http://smiles.kolobok.us/artists/jus...C_thinking.gif):
And then I set the globe arolling:
Interesting Max - it, and I refer to the still image, doesn't look 'real' in the sense of a photo from the stratosphere, but it doesn't matter because it has its own unique quality of representation, had I not known of the manipulation I would still have doubted the authenticity
This is to do with the background stars more than the image, though the clouds give it away also - they're too large - the reason the Earth looks like a marble is because of the filigree patterns
But it's still as fine as any graphic I've seen
Like the gif too
