i would try and adapt...but if it ever came to the person i love getting hurt becuase i stayed i would leave

Are they not rather the same thing? Do not the choices that we make define who we are and who we become? If you were to change a part of your past, you would likely be changing yourself as well.

I'm planning on learning french this year. Although I don't suppose it is all that "complicated."
