Half Moon Bay... Intermission while I see what my wife is screaming about... mouse in grain bucket... taken down across the street to our lower (over-run) pasture.... Bay Area, though we did explore North to San Francisco and South to Carmel extensively.

Cats indoors only... all our outdoor cats have passed on. Beaches that far north are not as busy as Santa Cruz, Monterey, etc. but some of the best surfing in the world is at Mavericks near Half Moon Bay... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWXiswL39zc .
