What is the best quote you have ever heard/read?
There are many things that Einstein said that are worth noting, but since you asked for my favorite, well it would be:
"In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away" - shing xiong

Favorite quote? Yikes, impossible to say! One of my favorites comes from Goethe's Faust:
Another from Milton:Quote:
All that philosophy can teach,
The lore of jurist and of leech,
I've mastered, ah! and sweated through
Theology's dead deserts, too,
Yet here, poor fool! for all my lore,
I stand no wiser than before.
From Coleridge:Quote:
The mind is its own place, and in itself creates
An heaven of hell, an hell of heaven.
Emerson, Woolf, Thoreau, and Dostoevsky also have a million things I can quote, but I will stop there. :DQuote:
Happiness is the end of virtue, and truth knowledge of the means.

Any sort of old, silent film with limited subtitles, lots of action, but almost no plot to represent something abstract and left for the imagination, but with no direction.

Nope, I actually have excellent vision.
If given the chance, would you ever have synesthesia for a day, or longer? What would you do to enjoy the experience?
Oh, I have a version of that... I see letters and numbers, even words in colour. I never knew it was a condition, just that my mother and brother have the same; and I just realised that Vladimir Nabokov had this too. But all the other versions, sure I'd try that. I'd go for a walk with watercolours, and paint in the forest, I'd go to a cafe and tlak with strangers, and I'd go swimming in the sea.
What colour is 'C'?
Green comes to mind first, but, while thinking of it, I could almost imagine it as a deep blue, like . . . going back to my Crayola Crayon days . . . cerulean.

Anything by Ambrose Bierce, especially The Devil's Dictionary; The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde also comes to mind.
