i get up as late as humanly possible, so somewhere between seven and eleven am...depending on the day's responsibilities and demands.
are you a morning person or a night person?
Ooh I'm a night one. I like going to bed when the sun rises, but last night I napped too long and woke up at 3am, so I've kinda gone full circle now. (1:00am here)
Tired is when my sillies come out. :D It's also the only time I can write poetry.
Why do people call red "the color of attraction?" (Personally, I think of it as "aggression.")
i really dont know. i assume it has something to the neural response that one has, biologically, when exposed to it, but really? i have no clue..
what is your favorite color then?
Deep deep blue. Although I'm becoming partial to green lately as well.
What color walls does your computer room have?
white...all the walls are white. i hate it. i used to have this house, where i painted the living room walls a deep brick red and the kitchen bright yellow (my bedroom was eggplant purple with a black ceiling and black lights everywhere). but this is just a temporary rental, no point in investing too much time in it.
what type of home do you dream of living in?
Delapidated farm house in a field in Vermont, on top of a mountain, far far away from people.
If you could pick the color of the sky, what would you choose?
i think light purple or perhaps pink...i love the sunsets that have those colors in them.
do you follow the standard guide for color (in clothes i mean) and refuse to wear orange with red or do you ignore all the rules?
I just kind of judge by how they look next to each other. I didn't know there was a rule. :p I get really annoyed if two things of the same color don't match, though -- like if one black is bluer than another. Or if a red shirt is more of a rose shade than my tights or shoes.
Do you lay out an outfit before you put it on, or go "hey, pants," put them on, then look for a shirt?
definitely hey! pants (usually inserting a wondrous "they are clean????!!!!) and then searching for a shirt that goes even slightly....all the while running around the house in a bra, brushing my teeth and yelling at my son to hurry up and get dressed...cant he dress himself yet!
are you any more organized (time-wise) than i am?
LOL I take an hour to get ready, and I begin reliably 10 minutes before I have to be somewhere. The "snooze" is long long since worn away on the snooze button. :D
Speaking of snoozing, I'm dropping as I type. Can you hear the enthusiasm in my voice? :D Nighty night, VB. Have a good one.
Are there lots of other houses near yours, or do you live in relatively secluded surroundings?
goodnight Em....sleep well and dream of all the posts you will be missing while you rest! *laughs evilly and rubs hands together*
i live in a suburbanish neighborhood, people on either side and across the back alley. right on a cross road too between two elem schools and a high school, so tons of traffic.
would you walk up a dark alley alone at night?
Probably, I'm of the mindset that if something is going to happen to me it's gonna happen if i'm in a dark alley or in on a brightly lit street.
Do you think we will ever have the technology to "beam paople up" like in Star Trek? (or does the government already have this technology and are keeping it under wraps to keep the car companies in business, thereby keeping the US economy afloat.)
No. Physically and Physcologically impossible. But the gov is hiding stuff from us. Its their job.
Have you ever tried to lick your elbow?
um...not till you mentioned it.
why is your town boring?
Nope, my town is pretty hoppin'
Are small towns always boring?
i think that totally depends on perspective....small towns generally have many nature related activities (hiking, fishing etc), but not much culture (concerts, theatre, museums etc.)
i think the town is only as interesting as the person who is attempting to enjoy it.
do you think that big cities offer more to it's residents? iow..do the positives of living in the big city surpass the negatives?
no, i don't think convenience, public transportation, culture, etc. can ever surpass space and clean air. i wish there were a way to merge the two...
given the opportunity, would you have a home in both the city and the country/burbs?
yes, but I think I would rent one out.
How many Billygoats does it take to compensate for 1 riding lawnmower?

How long is time?
Is there other life on other planets?
it depends upon how you define time
it can cease to exist
it can be infinite
life in other planets?

what abt life co-existing in this planet and we both dot know?
what abt simulation..
what they show in matrix is not a silly idea..
maybe we r living in some simulated world?
or someday we simulate some world??
do you talk to yourself? when and what,, what do you feel then?
have you watched people smiling on their own, dreaming something?
Yes I talk to myself, in the grocery store, clothes shopping, at work....I could go on. I find that when I talk to myself I'm thouroughly involved at the task in hand, I'm either trying to figure something out or I'm trying to convince myself of something.
I have seen other people smiling on their own I don't necessarily stop and watch though.
Did you have imaginary friends as a child?
No. I've always been very imaginative, but never fantasizing. Very clear line between reality and fantasy for me, even as a kid.
Do you freak out when a stranger bumps into you or spills their drink on you, or are you really polite and just think nasty thoughts?
LOL, yeah, I, for one, would wear a smile and say, "That's all right," while inside I'm thinking, "**** you *****."
Don't you hate the way American grammar rules are inconsistent? (For example, you put period before the quotation mark but you put a question mark after the quotation mark.)
its confusing sometimes, but I love my language.
have you ever gotten fewer than two questions right on a test? (me today :-( )
Aww :( I've gotten some pretty low test scores, but most of them were just because I didn't take them. I don't think I've gotten that few on one I actually did take, but I could have just blocked out the memory. :D
Do you buy old pictures just for the frames?
havent bought any old pictures yet,, but i dont think so, if i wud do like that.
have you enjoyed going out in the rain any time?
It's pleasure for me.
Can you manage to keep clean a book while you're reading it?
i can but it requires a lot of effort, so it has to be a terribly special book (or a brand new one...which is quite rare for me). mostly i feel that a book is supposed to be used and well worn and even slightly dirty; it makes it looked loved.
what is the best way to start a saturday morning?
To stay in bed till 11.00 or 12.00
And what about a sunday morning?
fresh ground coffee, everyone (my bf, me and my son. it is the ONLY time he's allowed in my room) piled in my bed (i have more down in my bed than most bird sanctuaries), crossword puzzles, bagels, snuggles......mmmmm....love sunday morning.
what do you want to be if you grow up?
Dictator...
how do you want to die?
Not at the hands of Dictator Fool. :D Living to 100 wouldn't bother me, but it would suck if I was a vegetable. I'd like it to be a wham--bang--gone sort of thing. I'd rather die quick and young than old and incapacitated.
