I like it very much and strongly agree.
Hello Elizabeth, and welcome back.
I don't know why but your avatar and signature make me peaceful. I hope we'll get to know each other soon! :)

Why... Arigato, Aiko-sama. :)
Welcome on the forum and I'd be glad to know you better. You seem a very nice and intelligent girl.
Thanks, Tend! It's great to be back and see all these familiar faces again. :DQuote:

Of course, our first concern is with your health but sometimes when you're feeling down, what you need is a little motivation and what better motivation is there to feel better than to make Virgil a little less lonely. ;)
In all seriousness, I do hope you feel better soon, Kathy and I look forward to seeing your new avatar, your avs are always interesting.
Thanks, Idril and Virgil. Well, I decided to go with a nature theme avy for now, but for Virgil what could be more retro glamour than Bettie Page? ;)

Yowzah.

Well, I finally broke down and picked an avatar and signature. The avatar is the WWI flying ace and the signature is "optima dies ... prima fugit", which means "the best days are the first to flee". It is from Virgil's Georgics, and it is quoted by Willa Cather (or her editor) at the beginning of My Antonia.
Newest signature is from one of my own poems, reminding us to look ahead, tomorrow's another day, yesterday is gone and we cannot change it! :)
oh,good line, Harris:)
I have made some changes....
how do you like this avvy?
better than old Seshomaru-sama (sp?). I'm missing him already:bawling:
So I suppose I'll just fool around with this one for a couple of days.
why can't we have animated avatars? do they take up more storage or cause some other technical problems I don't understand (except driving people nuts?)
