I have done so on more than one occassion and I cannot think of a reason not to do it again.

I think it depends on how obvious it seems, if it disturbs my/his/her/our work, and who does it (there exists a lot of hierarchy where I work). In most cases, I would ignore it, but especially if it upsets work or other coworkers, I never feel shy to do something about it.

I'm pretty athletic right now, but come winter and I'll be a mean, lean throwing machine.

definitely! I've taken in a stray cat covered with ticks and not only that, he was also tested FIV positive. He's with me 5 years now and is now sleeping on my bed (keeping my fingers crossed)
