Hm, here in the U.S. they're separate. We have jelly, made from juice; jam, which includes fruit puree; and 1preserves, which is basically jam with fruit chunks in it.

What are downlights?
Downlights are the new lights... Or maybe they are only fitted here in Oz. But they are set into the ceiling or hooked up to roofs of homes, spreading lights down at you, rather than around. I dislike them immensely but they seem to be all the rage now. Blah!!

I love swimming...I guess I should say I love being in the water, it's not like I enjoy swimming laps or anything, that gets a little boring. ;)
Folk singers?
I never like until I wanted to learn about my father's heritage and then he sang some old songs from his time and they were rather interesting. Funny as well. :)
Heavy metal?
Some of it isn't too bad. I'm not a big fan of thrash metal or death metal but if it has a good melody, interesting, thoughtful lyrics, I'm all for it!

Oh no... Not a good thing. Especially here in Oz. Lot's of people still do it, but here we have a slip, slop, slap rule. Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen and slap on a hat. Skin cancer is on the rise here. Too dangerous to be in the sun for too long. I don't know much about salon tanning, but the real thing; not a good thing.

don't like them when they're on the interstate and I'm in my car being cautious around them, but the one time I was on one, it was fun. Of course, I was just riding on the back of it.
