Bon jour,I am a trial lawyer in Ill.,who loves words and War and PEACE which I have read about four times because it is better each time.I found this site to find a two page part of this novel which is very beautifully written and descriptive but has nothing to do with the story.Can anyone tell me where to find it?
Hello everyone! My name is Lynn and I'm so happy to have found a online book discussion forum. I have recently graduated in May with my Bachelor's in Secondary Education English. One of the thing I have missed about school is hearing everyone's input on novels I was reading. I love to hear outside perspectives. Although I typically shy away from being an active member of online communities, I'm hoping to find this one pleasing and addictive enough that I will not follow my usual pattern.
I have always enjoyed reading as far back as I can really remember. My addiction began with the Babysitter's Club way back when. I'm currently in the middle of reading Dracula.

Hi I am from Bangladesh. I am trying to become a full fledged economist one day; currently I am pursuing my Masters in Economics. I have a passion for philosophy and specifically i love the writings of Aldous Huxley and Bertrand Russell. Although I am usually drawn towards subjects like logic physics and mathematics but somehow i have always been captivated by philosophical writings. I'm sugar and I've been persuaded to join the forum by my boy friend. Although I enjoy creative writing I have never done any courses or honed my skills etc. Would really love to get feed back and some help as I know that my writing can leave something to be desired :) I have just started my degree in Animal Conservation and Management so this will be a welcome break from cell biology. Hello! My name is Christopher Marston. I'm 32, I work in a library and I'm studying as well. I read a lot, from the daily news to study, work and literature I think I really have little time for anything else(although I did manage to snow shoe for a few days through the mountains last weekend to a wonderous hut to read Shakespeare and Ovid in solitude) but it's not a source of complaint, of course.

I'm an avid reader of 'quality' SF (favourite authors: Gene Wolfe, Jack Vance, John Crowley, M John Harrison, Jeff Vandermeer, etc) and classic literature (everything and anything - from Shakespeare to Dostoyevsky to Goethe and so on). I'm fortunate in that I have a job where I'm able to read quite a lot and also get quite a lot of time off, so I tend to get through books at quite a rate...

i found this site when i was attempting to find out more about Leo Tolstoy. i have read the cossacks and a bit about the author himself.
i have tried to write my own fiction but always end up getting bored with the story that i'm working on and move on to 'my next project'. i think this says alot about my ability to concentrate on something for any length of time.
