Guinevere - William Morris
In that vein, who's this sulkily apprehensive chick?
http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/q...able/pic10.jpg
Well, you are right - but the painting is not in fact 'Guinevere', though this is a common mistake. A metaphorical bonus point if anyone can give the correct title.
Hmm, apparently that one was too easy... meh, I've been reading some Morris, so he was in my head.
Lok: You're right. It's La Belle Iseult, apparently.
Everyone else: La Belle Iseult isn't the sulky redhead - it's Lok's skinny brunette. I might have confused the apparent order of things here.
The sulky redhead that I posted is now up for identification. Here she is again.

I thought I was on the right track with Dante Gabriel Rossetti but to no avail.
After further search I discovered Anthony Frederick Augustus Sandys
The painting is Helen of Troy

While her work is commonly categorized as part what is known as "outsider art" she has more than a passing knowledge of various precursors such as Cy Twombly, Jean Dubuffet, Australian Aboriginal art, Japanese kimono designs, graffiti, etc...

Henri Gervex , Five Hours At Paquin
Daniel Gerhartz has some serious skills... but he doesn't seem to have the least idea what century he is living in.
His parents met in art school, where his father was studying under the G.I. Bill. When his parents married, his father gave up his own dreams of a career in art and started a gardening business to support his family. But every night, father and son shared a little ritual that began when the artist was was just nineteen months old.
Recent honors and awards include the Trustees Purchase Award at The Autry Museum of Western Heritage in Los Angeles, CA, the Prix de West Purchase Award at The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, OK, and the Patron's Choice Award at The Autry Museum of Western Heritage. His book, The Image of Christ, was a finalist for the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association Gold Medallion Book Award.

Alright, here's a clue. The artist does this for a hobby and is better known for something other than painting.
I spent some time on it last week, but obviously no luck.
Emil, perhaps another clue is in order?

Ah, Tony Bennett!
I was searchibg political figures and the Royal Family.
Here's the next one.
