Hi! :wave: How are you doing?
787. . . I'm doing great. Spending yet another busy day at work on the Lit Net - I'm beginning to be afraid people will get tired of me! :lol: How are you?
788 . . . Don't worry about poeple getting tired of you . . . we need more activity. Besides, you're only averaging about 1.9 posts per day . . . I've got 22 posts a day here!
I'm so tired . . . it may be naptime. :D
789. . . I shall make it my goal, then, to achieve 25 posts a day! :D I love playing the games and chatting with people who love books as much as I do. After grad school, I started to feel isolated out here in the "real world", so this place has been a joy to me. It's saved my brain from major atrophy
Sorry to hear you are tired. . . maybe a siesta is just what you need :brow:
`````790`````````
And no doubt subjected it to minor atrophy!! I have a lower level of brain expenditure when I am posting here on the forums than at any other time in my life. Except maybe when I'm working.Quote:
I'll either be able to sleep or crash and burn after I get off of work later . . . things could be worse!Quote:
791. . . so you see my point - games are more intellectually stimulating than work! :D
Plus, I can always post on the novels or poems when I want to actually stress my "little grey cells" In fact, my assignment this weekend is to reread the first canto of Spenser's FQ and post on it in the Spenser thread.
Did you give yourself that assignment? I thought I might be the only one who did stuff like that . . .
793
I kind of give myself assignments sometimes... Everyone does... My average posts per day is 13.55. I usually wonder how David gets such a high average.... Remember Hyacinth, you have been a member longer than David or myself, which means you have more days to catch up on. :lol:
-794-
She has got a ways to go, that's for sure. :D
My post count is merely a reflection of my hopeless infatuation with the personalities of the people I have found in the Games forum . . . mostly Elizabeth and Eva and Aimus. For awhile I was a 1 or .5 posts a day kind of person . . . I think my first 50 posts or so were all in the RT forums.
795. . . I shall perservere!!! I joined a long time ago, posted once, and then my computer died. :( Now, through the miracle of work, I can work on that post count!
Yes, I give myself these assignments. Right now I am reading Oliver Twist, as I have not read Dickens in a long time, then it's off to FQ for a stint, then probably Borges or Rushdie.
Hi Piglet! :wave:
